The problem with the Shadow 2 is that it will make you neglect your other pistols. ANYTHING short of a custom 2011 is a letdown after shooting the Shadow 2.
The Shadow 2 is definitely setting the bar very high. Beretta has answered back with the Beretta 92X Performance to compete with the Shadow 2. I’d really like to see SIG get in the mix and come out with a response for the Shadow 2 and the Beretta 92X Performance
My brother and I took my dentist brother gun shopping. My dentist brother, even though he knows absolutely nothing about guns, was shown the some CZs and picked out the Shadow 2 because the dealer said it had all the bells and whistles and because my brother can afford it and was probably just trying to show off. The three of us went shooting yesterday and my other brother and I with our M&P 2.0 and HiPower have both decided we are determined that we each have to have one. You have to experience it to know how special of a gun this is. It is a perfect shooter. I’ve owned 7 or more 1911s and still love them but if I could choose between a 1911 and the Shadow 2 it would be the Shadow 2 hands down. It is freaking awesome. I’ve heard the 2011 is awesome too but the law of diminishing returns would not justify the expense for me. We looked at the Sig but my dentist brother is a lefty so I’m glad he didn’t choose it. Great gun but It would just not have been as fantastic.
I shoot both of these guns a lot, the legion for defensive training classes and the shadow 2 for competition. I really think that they are the two best SA/DA handguns on the market. It really comes down to what you really want to do with it. Something to consider is, the decocker versus a safety. I really think that the Legion is better suited for all around use, the shadow 2 is the best race gun on the market. I’m a lucky man !
You are correct. The SIG is better for defensive purposes and all around purposes. The high bore axis allows faster target acquisition. The CZ is heavier, has a lower bore axis. It is a bit more stable for rapid fire shooting. But, the trigger has a bit more stack than the SIG. For me, SIG was the first choice due to better supply chain support, gunsmith support and gunsmith familiarity.
@@stevepalpatine2828 I know you didn't ask me, but I shoot a lot and come in contact with different guns. I wouldn't choose the S2 as an EDC myself. It's a brilliant gun for sport, but the P226 is a better defensive gun in my opinion.
An excellent, well thought out comparison review. I'm not that familar with the P226. Never had the opportunity to handle one. But I did recently purchase the S2, and I honestly can't stop talking about it to anyone and everyone. A simply amazing gun. Deadly accurate, hardly any recoil to speak of, and that oh so sweet, dangerous trigger. I subscribed. Thanks.
I couldn’t agree with you more. First hand gun I ever purchased. Never shot a demo first. Didn’t watch any reviews prior to buying. And it’s literally spoiled me for any other handguns and I’ve since shot my share of other shooters, Sigs, Walthers, M&P, Glock (yuck, just yuck), 1911’s and I have yet to find a pistol that feels like it was made for me like the Shadow does. I just picked up the Optic Ready with a second OR on the way. I have the Sig P320 X5 with a Sig optic, but I think that ones going on a little vacation to the consignment store and I’ll be on the look out for a replacement Carry Optic gun. Thinking the P-10F....Thanks again for the objective review. Funny how the only people I know that seem to hate on the Shadow 2 are the people that don’t own one.
I have both the CZ Shadow 2 and a Sig Legion SAO 226. I've thought about the only one question and I truly can't pick one over the other. It's a complete toss up.
I have the Sig X5, Canik TPSFX9, Colt Government Competition, and the Shadow 2. The Shadow 2 hands down is just incredible. It is by far, the best gun I have ever shot.
I have been shooting a P226 RX Legion for a couple of years now, in IDPA and really like it (recommend the flat trigger and 19lb main springs). On the clubs 50ft range I can put a magazine in a silver dollar regularly, and have had zero failures. I am considering my next gun and have rented the CZ Target Sport Orange, Shadow 2, Sig P210, Wilson Combat, etc..And, CZ is high on the list, but with such good shooters it is a degree of personal preference. Cheers
I’ve always been a sig guy but I bought a po1 omega and oh boy were they right. That thing can out shoot any sig I’ve shoot before in my hands. It’s so good that I order a shadow 2 sao the day after I took it to the rang. I’m hooked now. I’m very impressed, I had never shoot a cz.
Wingman8113 My dad has the CZ Accu shadow and a p226 legion... Dont get me wrong, the legion is a great shooter and has night sights.. But the ergos and trigger of the Cz Shadows are second to non.
It depends on how much you pay. My kegion was much cheaper than the shadow. Biggest difference is any new Sig is a colossal piece of shat. Sig is the new Highpoint with a premium price. Exept most Highpoints actually work.
I've had 2 Sigs, and both had to be sent in for rework. They even hassled me about both them both times. I know of a gunsmith who said he's always doing work on Sigs. No more Sigs for me.
Thanks for sharing your opinion on these exceptional pistols I made my mind up before watching your video but your feeling the same way I did after shooting the Shadow 2 cemented my choice. This pistol actually shoots better than a gun twice the price. CZ really outdid themselves with this one. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
I still go with the sig. you have to compare the. Six 226 x five rather than standard 226. Shadow 2 had almost 5 inches barrel vs 4.4 inches on standard 226.
Bro you are spot on ! I have been blessed to have lots of great guns. I have now condensed the pistols to about 15 of what I consider best in each class for my taste. For instance I only own one Glock to this day sold the rest and the 19 I tricked out and put a ton of money in never leaves the safe ,it sucks compared to my 2 shadow systems DR920s especially my 920p comp. I actually prefer my regular CZ SP01 over my P226 Legion... The Shadow 2 must be a phenomenal firearm. Going rate for that gun here in CA is about $2800 since it's off roster😭
I was able to shoot one before i got my sp01 Passed someone leaving the range and saw the blue grips and i asked him n let me shoot it Made me fall in love, love my sp01 tho
@@DangerClose805 -- i purchased a CZ P01 and received it on 11/2 i ended up sell/transferring it to a workmate for the exact price I bought it for! Why (you might ask)? Because my brother (law enforcement) purchased a CZ Shadow 2 and his wife made him sell it before he could even shoot it! Long-story-short, I will be in possession (5 more days) of an off roster NIB CZ Shadow 2 for only $1150 (the price he paid).
I was skeptical about the shadow 2, but I looked at the shadow 2 compact. since they are going for about $2k-2500 right now so it was hard to decide, get staccato now and wait for prices to drop or…. Nope! Put one in your hand and you’ll get one while you know they are around. I can’t imagine anyone ever get rid of one unless they are in a pinch for cash. I haven’t tested them out against one another, but as far as feel and looks, wonderful!
The only full sized gun I have ever owned is a G17Gen2 I bought used in the mid 90’s. Thinking of getting a 226 or a CZ. Money isn’t the biggest factor because I don’t buy dozens of guns.
Great video I hate to say this because I absolutely love my Legion which ran me about $900 But I just recently used a shadow 2 and it’s a HUGE upgrade. Fortunately the ONLY thing better than one gun is TWO guns (or twenty) So I’ve ordered a Cz. Side note I will not use or carry a plastic gun of any kind so this comparison was right up my alley.
Look at the cz p01. Might be a little more carry friendly, and with some cajun gun works goodies it's an amazing pistol. Or if you want to go to a subcompact dont forget about the cz rami
Shadow 2 is awesome. My favorite gun for now but I just sold my 226 legion to buy a CZ tactical sport orange. Haven’t got to the range yet with the TSO.
The purposes of the pistols are Night and Day from each other. The Legion is a top of the line carry/duty gun. The Shadow 2 is a Full Competition /Range gun. A better comparison would be a SIG P210 vs a Shadow2. Still a great video, and you have a great collection. SIG or CZ, you cannot go wrong with either one.
Tommy Ribs I would have to disagree, the sig is very heavy as well and bulkier. The CZ is similar in weight but more narrow like a 1911. I can’t see carrying either, but if I did it would be the CZ.
@@tnh723 I guess you would have to put them both in a bucket full of salt water for a week in order to figure it out. On the outside both are coated however I do not know about the internal moving parts.
I have the sig 226 mk 25 and shadow 2 urban grey,,,,,,shadow 2 for the wind apples and oranges duty vs range compition rotate my CC with sig 365XL sptre comp and sig 226 mk25 but just got the TS 2 orange what holsters do you have for shadow 2
All steel vs an aluminum framed one. The legion will be the better one for carry and all around duty but the S2 will be your competition gun. Even though the legion has that awesome reset, it's somewhat an unequal comparison. I'd love to see a fairer fight between a P226 LDC or P226 X5 All Around (X5 if barring price, LDC has more bang for buck IMO), vs the Shadow 2. Now that's a great matchup. Both steel, both competition oriented.
I love the collection sir! I am on my way towards it. Can you list what exactly you have there? I have sig 320 x5 legion, walther ppq Q5 match sf, canik tp9sfx black out edition, cz shadow 2 blue, and sig 1911 spartan
A very nicer selection of pistols. I have the CZ 75 SP01 Tactical Full size and the CZ 75D PCR Compact both in 9mm and love them. Also a couple of H&K’s which I do not see in your collection!
I am not a sig fan, I do have a 229 Elite though, love it. The Shadow 2 and othe5r CZ models I find much better than sigs. I am in no way taking away from sig owners/lover, but CZ just makes a much better ergonomic handgun with better stats in my opinion. I own 12 CZs. All 75B Style and one 97B on the way
I'd rather fight with the Sig and run a competition with the Shadow 2. Both are amazing pistols and are at the top of the pack for what they are designed for.
I was thinking of getting this as my first CZ. It's between this one used for $900 or thr SP-01 tactical for $500. Or the Sig P320 X5 Legion for 840 new.
Having owed the X-5 Legion and the SP-01 Tactical, I would go with the X-Legion. It is a smoother shooter. Plus it comes with two different springs so the recoil can be tailored to the bullet weights that you are shooting. Now comparing the X-5 Legion to the Shadow 2...the CZ is a better overall shooter; in my humble opinion.
I have the Grand power K100 -Xtrim, it's a nice pistol, different. went to the range, borrowed the clubs Shadow 1, not the 2, WOw night and day people. I have got now get me a tricked out shadow 2 from their custom shop, for IPSC. Going for the burned bronze, blue grips black slider with red dot. But the 75 TSO version is also a runner both are out on their own.
I bought my Sig Legion SAO new $980 plus $100 Sig store money . I love the gun . Unfortunately no CZ'S in Massachusetts . I definitely would buy a Shadow 2 if it was Massachusetts Compliant .
I sold my Wilson combat EDCX9 to buy the CZ checkmate recently. It was my first CZ and even though the price was ridiculous, the customer was nothing short of perfection
This is kind of like comparing Toyota Hilux to BMW M5. One is an utility gun and the other is a sports gun. For self defensive purposes I'd go with the P226 and in the sports with the Shadow. No doubt. The Shadow 2 is a heavy pistol that I wouldn't want to be carrying around on a daily basis, but it does very well what it was created for - shooting sports. P226 on the other hand is the Hilux of pistols for self defense. Not something I would use in the sports. Though, who am I to say, after all I'm using Glock 17 G5 over Shadow 2 at the moment...
i dont understand why one would be for self defense and the other for sport. Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me. Its like your saying the CZ is ok for sport shooting but somehow not good enough or reliable enough to defend your life. Thats just crazy to me. The CZ 75 platform..which the Shadow is part of..has been around way way longer than the Sig 226 or the 229. It has a proven track record for reliability and accuracy that spans the globe. CZs have been the guns of choice all across Europe and Asia for militaries and police agencies since its invention in 1975. I feel pretty sure those guns have defended many of the lives of the people that carried them daily while doing their jobs. To me the best gun has always been the one i can shoot the best that is reliable. For me, its a CZ. And i would trust my life to that gun because i know its reliable and i know i can shoot it well.
Marvin Martian to me, the muzzle flip on the CZs is almost non-existent. Yes they are a little heavier than the 226 or 229 but that just softens the recoil all the more. There is nothing bad about the 226 or 229. They are both great shooting guns. For me, the CZs just work a little better. And if you want a lighter gun to carry..then look at the CZ p07 and p09. They both have a polymer lower assembly but still give you a great DA/SA trigger pull just like the Shadow and the Sigs..226 and 229. All these guns are great shooters and ultra reliable. It just amazes me that people will try to compare these guns and try to act like Sig is better in some silly way. Its just not true. CZ knows how to build a good reliable and highly accurate handgun. They have been doing it for a long long time. After all..the CZ 75 is the original wonder nine. Go take a look at their history. Google it.
I have both...love them both. The CZ is more of a competition gun...the Sig could be a carry weapon...better comparison would be Sig vs Beretta WC 92g. It's like which child do you love the most...the answer is BOTH...
I just bought CUSTOM CZ shadow target II over shadow 2. But the trigger was outstanding on target II & it was a little lighter weight. I believe Im able to shoot this n IDPA & USPSA versus shadow 2 only good for USPSA cuz if weight. That being said I still want shadow 2. Nice video
Shadow 2 no question. And for those of you talking about a SAO sig, that's a different pistol with a trigger that's subjective. I've tried it and personally don't care for that style of action. If you want a single action only pistol, buy a 1911. And lastly the different trigger doesn't make up for the fact that the shadow is inherently easier to shoot accurately. The CZ is overall a better designed pistol compared to either flavor of Sig.
I have the Legion 226 and sold it it would shoot to the left When I purchased the cz shadow 2 and loved it. But then I bought an STI 2011 DVC 3 gun and that my friends is the best of the best. You should try one you will be definitely convince
Got one and you've got to practice with that trigger. Smooth double action and reset is crazy short, and all you gotta do is just touch the trigger for the follow up 2nd shot. Scary if you're a beginner.
The only and I mean THE only reason I would choose the 226 over the shadow is the cz’s lack of a decocker. But only in the “if I could only have one” conversation. And I do own both.
Well the Shadow 2 is a bad example because it is very specifically a competition pistol and you do not want a decocker screwing up the trigger on your competition pistol that you never need to decock like that. but you could take any CZ with a decocker give it a trigger job and some Cajun gun Works parts and have a gun that's still blows the legion completely out of the water for hundreds of dollars less.
I’m just saying between these 2 pistols in particular, I pick the go to war gun over the competition pistol. Don’t get me wrong I love my cz, by far my favorite pistol, I’m just talking within the confines of the question posed in this video.
Don't regret it, the Sig is the better overall gun (I don't have shadow 2 but own TS, which is very similar, just SAO) but it is more difficult to master for newbies. Also it holds value better. Just practice, practice.... the trigger control is the key to accurate shooting.
I own both, the p226 legion is a great home defense handgun, it can be carried but there are better options for me. The cz shadow 2 is pure fun and excitement. It is a wonderful range gun, it could be a home defense handgun. It is not a edc, too large and heavy. Both are dependable, accurate and very good handguns but in my opinion the cz outshines the sig.
I'm an odd one out here in the comments, I actually like the legion better than the shadow 2. The grip just fits in my hand much better, making for a softer feeling recoil. I do like the front sight on the shadow 2 much more for target shooting though.
That's a stupid reason plus you don't have to run the buffer they make buffers like that for a lot of other high-end pistols too they're optional CZ just ships theirs with the shadow because it is intended for competition I have a buffer in my safe for a Beretta m9 Beretta runs fine without it it runs fine with it CZ will do the same
Possibly but i dont have those and probably never will. You can always compare something to something else. You could also say a better comparison to the x5 or x6 to a TSO or TSO orange. The possibilities are abundant. Thanks for the comment...SWAO!
I own 5 Sigs. I own 2 CZs. I have the Tactical Sport orange, by CZ. There is no better pistol.... Period. Even better than the Shadow 2 by a decent margin.
I heard great things about the cz pistols but I held one and didn't like it. Slide is too small to rack quickly. Hammer felt kind of cheap. I like the sig and beretta pistols better.
The Sig P226 is a practical gun. Its a War and Service pistol that shoots great. Don't get me wrong. Ive shot the Shadow 2 and it is great. It is a softer than the Sig but there is nothing that the Cz S2 can do that the P226 Legion SAO cant do. As far was why the Sig isn't in as many competition. It's too busy being on duty in your local city or county.
The problem with the Shadow 2 is that it will make you neglect your other pistols. ANYTHING short of a custom 2011 is a letdown after shooting the Shadow 2.

False.

The only full sized gun I have ever owned is a G17Gen2 I bought used in the mid 90’s. Thinking of getting a 226 or a CZ. Money isn’t the biggest factor because I don’t buy dozens of guns.
thowdy I hope you found what you wanted
Great video
I hate to say this because I absolutely love my Legion which ran me about $900
But I just recently used a shadow 2 and it’s a HUGE upgrade. Fortunately the ONLY thing better than one gun is TWO guns (or twenty)
So I’ve ordered a Cz.
Side note I will not use or carry a plastic gun of any kind so this comparison was right up my alley.
Look at the cz p01. Might be a little more carry friendly, and with some cajun gun works goodies it's an amazing pistol. Or if you want to go to a subcompact dont forget about the cz rami
HEAVYWALL 70 nice I hope it worked out for you. It’s hard to stop at one CZ
You retard guns arent plastic some are polymer and will outshoot your dumbass
For self defense, a 226 Legion all day
For competition, a Shadow 2 all day
I was debating between a p226 and a shadow 2. I ended up with the cz and have no regrets in the slightest.
Shadow 2 is awesome. My favorite gun for now but I just sold my 226 legion to buy a CZ tactical sport orange. Haven’t got to the range yet with the TSO.
You'll love the TSO it's even better than a shadow I've had both.
I used to own a P226 Legion SAO and a P229 Legion. Shadow 2 is better by a large margin IMO.
If Shadow 2 was full competition it would not have a rail for light.
what would make the Shadow 2 unsuitable for duty?
210 certainly would be a non optimal choice for a comparison. However the TS Orange vs. the 210 would be interesting.
@@tnh723 I guess you would have to put them both in a bucket full of salt water for a week in order to figure it out. On the outside both are coated however I do not know about the internal moving parts.
Couldn't decide so I got both 💯 CZ Shadow 2 is in the the same class as the P226 x5 legion when it comes to performance.
That's the nicest collection of guns I've ever seen from a civilian
Your CZ P-01 looks awesome. Where did you get it and what upgrades did you make.....Looks like an upgraded hammer, trigger, and mag.
That one went to Cajun Gun Works Pro Package
I have the sig 226 mk 25 and shadow 2 urban grey,,,,,,shadow 2 for the wind
apples and oranges duty vs range compition
rotate my CC with sig 365XL sptre comp and sig 226 mk25
but just got the TS 2 orange
what holsters do you have for shadow 2
I use #5 O ring for dryfire around firepin keeps hammer from hitting
CZs are addictive. I have a video of an HK P30 LEM and I think I pull out a VP9 SK in one. I have my eye on a new P2000.
All 75B Style and one 97B on the way
Denvco1 nice
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO I now own 32 czs lol I just bought my 3rd shadow2
Denvco1 outstanding
After watching the video, great review sir.
I just bought a shadow 2 custom .... damn I can't wait.
I'd rather fight with the Sig and run a competition with the Shadow 2. Both are amazing pistols and are at the top of the pack for what they are designed for.
Where did you get the +2 mag extension for the Sig?
shopwilsoncombat.com/Magazine-SIG-Sauer-P226-9mm-20-Round-Mec-Gar/productinfo/NW402/
I think I got them on one of midway USA sales but you can get them most places.
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO
Tankx alot....
I could tell you were going to chose the CZ the moment you picked it up.
If you’re comparing the target Shadow against a SIG, try comparing a P210 or an X-series 226. The 220 is a target gun for sure.
I was thinking of getting this as my first CZ. It's between this one used for $900 or thr SP-01 tactical for $500. Or the Sig P320 X5 Legion for 840 new.
Are you looking for something to carry or to just plink with? Cause in the end that might help you determine which🤷♂️
Rueben Carney I said fuck having money and bought them both
Having owed the X-5 Legion and the SP-01 Tactical, I would go with the X-Legion.
Wow that P01 with steel hammer and clip looks so good!!
Jay K thanks for watching
I bought my Sig Legion SAO new $980 plus $100 Sig store money . I love the gun . Unfortunately no CZ'S in Massachusetts . I definitely would buy a Shadow 2 if it was Massachusetts Compliant .
dave gass it’s a shame every state can’t enjoy their full freedom
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO I definitely agree 💥💥💥 .
Really love my Sig Sauer P226 Stainless Steel Elite in 9mm but I am really liking that CZ Shadow 2.
I sold my Wilson combat EDCX9 to buy the CZ checkmate recently. It was my first CZ and even though the price was ridiculous, the customer was nothing short of perfection
American Soldier 777 congrats
wait, does that foam ear plug help prevent the hammer from damaging anything?? just course bc thank you for that idea lol if it does help
Kevin Brady lol..yeah or a rubber o ring works too
I have a collection of both CZs and SIGs. Love them all but the Shadow 2 is unbeatable.
Ylisami Fair Enough
Ylisami you said legion pistol line are like toyota? 🤣
i dont understand why one would be for self defense and the other for sport.
@@carolinabackwoodsgunclub6089 barrel looks quite a bit higher than forearm, what's the flip like?
I carry a CZ 75b compact
I just bought CUSTOM CZ shadow target II over shadow 2. But the trigger was outstanding on target II & it was a little lighter weight. I believe Im able to shoot this n IDPA & USPSA versus shadow 2 only good for USPSA cuz if weight. That being said I still want shadow 2. Nice video
They are very addictive.
Congrats on your CZ.
I bought the shadow 2 orange as my first CZ now I own 11.
I own this gun very awesome looking to
Pick up the shadow 2 orange when available great video
What trigger upgrade were you talking about for the cz?
Cajun gun Works
Me and my Shadow are inseparable, even in the dark. Go to your LGS, and Czech One. Amen...
Good advice
do you carry it?
I’m a mediocre shot with the P226, even with a red dot, but it seemed like I couldn’t miss with my Shadow 2 SAO. It was the gun, not me!
Trust me, it is you, not the gun. The p226 is just less forgiving, when you make a mistake.
What's with the foam earplugs?
Erick R it’s to prevent damage to the firing pin retaining pin do to lots of dry fire
I have both, the shadow 2 is nicer in my experience but both are really great pistols
Cheers
ruststar thanks for watching
I have the Legion 226 and sold it it would shoot to the left When I purchased the cz shadow 2 and loved it. But then I bought an STI 2011 DVC 3 gun and that my friends is the best of the best. You should try one you will be definitely convince
Noticeable difference between the STI and the Shadow 2? Also any malfunctions with the STI?
Have to agree...Bought a CZ Phantom...then HAD to go in debt for the Shadow 2....Now, this weapon is TRUE "PERFECTION".
I dont own a Phantom but I saw a killer deal on a used like new one here locally. I had to turn away before it hooked me.
The Unit I had to correct this. I bought that Phantom like new for $400.00. Now one of my favorites and now discontinued.
CZ's are a drug, and the Shadow 2 is the high you're always chasing.
0_0 tell me more
@@michaelxdrift You're chasing the dragon, but you never actually catch the dragon...
Daniel Hesse very true
What trigger did you put on the 01? 85C?
Yes. It was the CGW Pro package
A CZ has had a decocker model for decades it's called the CZ 75 BD or the spo1 tactical
I just meant the shadow 2 specifically.
Would be interesting to see the CZ vs Sig Legion SAO? Cool video!!
I wish I had watched this earlier. Just bought my first gun P226 legion and now already regretting it!
Don't regret it, the Sig is the better overall gun (I don't have shadow 2 but own TS, which is very similar, just SAO) but it is more difficult to master for newbies. Also it holds value better. Just practice, practice.... the trigger control is the key to accurate shooting.
Very nice collection.
I have both a shadow 2 and a non-legion 226. I shoot my 226 better. But that shadow2 trigger can't be described. Its that nice.
I really enjoy them both but it is a real treat to shoot. Still cheating though.
SWAO!
I think I shoot the 226 better because it has seen a few thousand rounds more go down range in my hands than the shadow 2 (still less than a case)
Looked like pretty worthless yards of takeup before 'action' happens on CZ. Legion trigger, when you move it, stuff happens.
Lol the cz may not be the most expensive but it's way at the top of the pile.
Nice review. What kind of pistol rack is that?
Jonathan Wiggins i bought that from Academy sports but they are on ebay and amazon cheap. Just type in pistol rack or pistol stand.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Appreciate the video......CZ all day baby.
I own one of each: tough call but slight edge to the Shadow 2
I'm an odd one out here in the comments, I actually like the legion better than the shadow 2. The grip just fits in my hand much better, making for a softer feeling recoil. I do like the front sight on the shadow 2 much more for target shooting though.
I'm going with the sig226 just bc the shadow 2 has a proprietary plastic ring that needs to be on the recoil spring and guide rod
Kevin Brady thats a buffer. Its intended for use on a competition pistol. It works good for its intended use. For carry not so much as they do break.
ohh my bad you're right..100% shadow2 for competition..i thought you meant something else
That's a stupid reason plus you don't have to run the buffer they make buffers like that for a lot of other high-end pistols too they're optional CZ just ships theirs with the shadow because it is intended for competition I have a buffer in my safe for a Beretta m9 Beretta runs fine without it it runs fine with it CZ will do the same
I sold my p229 legion and I don’t plan on selling the shadow 2 compact.
Who makes the sights on the P01 at the beginning of video?
DAWSON Precision Tritium NS as sold by Cajun gun works
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO Cool. Thanks.
Have them both wouldn't want to chose, sig factory red dot on 226 both awesome
Nice, I love sigs and cz’s! I have a p226, p229, 75D compact PCR, and I’m currently looking for a 75BD :)
Better Comparison may be an X5 or an X6 which are target guns where is the Legion is more a combat gun.
Possibly but i dont have those and probably never will. You can always compare something to something else.
You could also say a better comparison to the x5 or x6 to a TSO or TSO orange. The possibilities are abundant.
Thanks for the comment...SWAO!
Shadow b4 I watched the video!
I own 5 Sigs. I own 2 CZs. I have the Tactical Sport orange, by CZ. There is no better pistol.... Period. Even better than the Shadow 2 by a decent margin.
Dolphin Shooter nice
I agree I've traded my shadow 2 for tactical sport Orange best gun I own
Is the rail size the same on both? can you use the same tac light for both CZ and SIG pistols?
The lights come with different attachments so that you can use them with either just fine
These are quite different guns ,but I guess similar enough to compare...
It has become incredibly clear to me that I need to be more money oriented. 😂
Why do you have that earplug and do you have one for every pistol?
For dry fire so as not to damage the firing ping retaining pin
Lovely video and set of pistols
Range day: CZ. War: Sig
Good review. Ha. I’ll pay that price any day of the week. Try double that price in Oz.
You have a really nice collection
jeff fleser thank you
I heard great things about the cz pistols but I held one and didn't like it. Slide is too small to rack quickly. Hammer felt kind of cheap. I like the sig and beretta pistols better.
That’s why it’s good to have so many options. Something for most everyone.
