Welcome to NY! Here are some helpful tips from a native New Yorker: use the subway or walk/bike to commute (it's the quickest, never drive!). if going to Jersey, Long Island, or Westchester, use the LIRR, Metro North, and NJ transit. Try lots of new foods. Use the many parks the city has to offer. Go to the Hamptons for a day or use Long Islands' many beaches. ALSO, since you are in Williamsburg, there is a thing there called Smorgasburg. It's on the weekends and there are lots of food trucks with different cuisines by the water. It's amazing. And most of all, enjoy NYC!
i recently discovered your channel through ND MD as i'm in my 4th year of medical school and in order to give a direction to my research work and make it work towards my resume for my future career i've been concerned about choosing a specialty that would work for me. i saw your video in the "73 questions with..." series and i really loved your energy and positivity as a vascular surgeon which is usually thought to be one of the hardest most stressful specialties. it's really nice seeing you're done with residency and enjoying life more, especially after i watched your 60 hour call vlog. although i probably won't be choosing only-surgery specialties but it's really great what you're doing, you're definitely an inspiration to many med students like me. all the best to you and your family
Yang Yang videos are keeping me alive at med school rn 😌
