With the addition to magic stats and buffs can’t wait for 1.0 and they took the fishing mini game out back and gave it the old yeller treatment thank goodness!

Im on my first playthrough and it was like 3 months ago i killed azeos and ive only just done random shit and not killing that water guy boss and the food that i used for 3 months was bloat oat and bomb peppers. Did they maybe change something regarding some food combinations ? Cause I combined golden sunrice and pink coralotl and got quite good mage buffing food even though you stated in the video that the pink coralotl gives range damage buff. I am confused even though this is the like 3rd time I watched this vid.
They did D: Careful there, 1.0 switched things around when it comes to food. Gotta find a newer video or wiki it

fish:
tornis kingfish- pure damage
devil worm- ranged damage(depends on the golden fruit used)
brown dune tail-ranged attack speed(depends on golden fruit used)
elder dragonfish- crit rate
verdant dragonfish- crit damage
sandy spikeback- thorns (depends if you're doing the thorns conversion)
plants:
golden puffungi- the only source of boss damage and only for 1 minute(also gives boss damage taken reduction)
golden pewpaya- more ranged damage than devil worm but less attack speed than brown dune tail
you either have 6 buffs and have to eat one every minute if boss farming or if the boss lasts more than a minute for a 14% boss damage buff
or 4 buffs with less damage either way both of the fruits are gain their second effect as a golden fruit( boss damage for puffungi attack speed for pewpaya)
ill edit if I got anything wrong.
edit- power of omega-3 from fishing tree gives every fish boss damage buff but its slightly worse being 15% with golden pewpaya without the cooking skill proc

Hi! one question, how I get 80% range damage with pink coralotl? pink coralotl + sunrice? I dont know if I doing something wrong cause these combination dont give me range damage
Update changed it, because it was overpowered.
Pink Coralotl now gives +50 max mana for 10 min +36 magic barrier for 10 min.
Golden Pewpaya is the best ranged damage now with +28.2%, which is evidently much less than 80%
