As new player when played Tausret as first campaign. I actually thought that when I choosed Knufu the Builder legecy and thought it's from there where I am getting the free instant building, since it kidna makes sence. Making me think the legacy is much better then it actually is.
wrong, just play tall with tausret and own the factions next to you who declare war and focus on prestige. eventually the pharoh and seti die and you are easily declared pharoh
It's kinda historically accurate. It's a gross understatement to say that the historical reality surrounding Amenmesse, Seti II, Siptah, Bay, Tausret, Setnakht, and Ramesses III, was anything less than a convoluted mess of court intrigue liberally spiced with incest and the occasional murder conspiracy. Tausret was married to her half-brother Seti and, probably thanks to Bay, was regent to his successor Siptah. Except that Siptah was not Tausret's son. His mother is known but the identity of his father is not. It's unlikely to have been Seti, it may have been her other brother Amenmesse, or Siptah might have been one of Merneptah's sons (which is much more likely, since he used the name Siptah-Merneptah), and therefore the younger half-brother to all of them. Since his mother was likely a Canaanite consort of Merneptah there is an extraordinarily thin possibility that his father might have even been Bay or someone associated with or related to him. Bay was executed a few years into Siptah's reign and then when he died as a teenager Tausret took the throne in her own right, and the ensuing civil war was won by Setnakht. Then his son Ramesses III took the throne and got a little too comfortable with his harem... If all of this wasn't complicated enough, there's also Seti-Merneptah, who was seemingly the designated heir but died before Seti II which resulted in Siptah-Merneptah being installed. I'm pretty sure Seti-Merneptah is Seti II's heir when you start the game.
@worganfreeman2694 The love of Osiris is what got us to this position in the first place. Him and his brother Set decided to marry their sisters Isis and Nepthys, and 3000 years of kink and hilarity ensued. Word to the wise: Don't eat the lettuce.
Does merchant legacy have any bonuses for units? If it's only economy than I'd say it's rather weak, especially in the late game. Similar with Tausret - what's the point of having great economy if there are no great units to maintain.
1.Tausrets chariots aren't that great, they are okay, they are no hittite heavy chariots 2.I keep using a default unit size and at 21 chariots they are pretty few and somewhat maneuvrable but SOO fragile and get obliterated in autoresolve 3.The heir is her not seti's, the rest don't matter 4.As member of the dynasty you can become Scion and inherit pharaoh, not sure if this demands Seti (the character) dies, or just having more legitimacy then him 5.I like akhenaten from Isis and Osiris, also akhetaten helps keep civilization score up and diplo opinions 6.I don't recruit tauserets archers due to 160 range BUT in previous total war games if an archer had a shield the shield was active even if the archer is firing a bow, this is why dark elf darkshards with shields (55%) and shielded lothern sea guard (also 55%) are so amazing, 25% isn't that great but it helps if your archers are shot by other archers, melee damage is only good if they get a charge of, otherwise it's not enough melee stats The western desert lets you easily have so much bronze, stone and gold you can easily buy all the food, while crushing the one settlement oasis factions One of the most important fact about tauseret military is that you can build the bronzeworker up to 4 times before dynasty you could give your guys +60 armor, in dynasty it is nerfed to 32 armor
In my campaign, setti got himself killed by turn 10 or something. And i married ramses who also died like 3 turns later.
Only total war game where your character can get a divorce and fight its ex in battle 😂
I was about to say that now I want to play as her but I want to play as everybody at this point

Seti dragged me into so many wars even before the proper civil war started, he is more hindrance then help imho
"Time for a divorce."
@@Costin_Gaming Too late, he died two turns into the Civil war and I'm pharao now, inheriting one big mess
Ur supposed to break that alliance up lol

Wait as seti 3 of the 4 kids were tausrets (except for the male heir). So they also screw you when you play tausret?

There are various benefits you can get: items that benefit your army for instance.
Is that a mod for Tausrets image? If so which? Some of these characters look so ridiculous and immersion break8ng
No. Its the Avatar of the God skin. You have it for free as part of Dynasties game.
