    I would say you can use frozen fruit puréed then sieved, you can use the leftover pulp and dehydrate and grind into a powder for natural food colours for baking.

    Oh wow!!! I will making these next week. I have such a hard time finding gummies that we can eat. These ones with beef gelatin are perfect! Thank you for this video.

      I'm sorry, I'm new to this stuff. Is beef gelatin a healthier option as opposed to other options? Genuinely curious as I would like to try this.

    Stacy thank you so much for this wonderful video. I’m gonna give this a try. My oldest is 4 and he and my middle child love gummies .

    I made a ton Of these today. I used 3 tbsp of gelatin and I think it might have been too much. My kiddos love them tho. They think their candy, but every bag (I made little bags of them) has 3.6 grams of protein. Getting my daughter to eat protein is hard. So her believing it’s candy is great.

      That's amazing! Definitely the amount of gelatin greatly impacts the texture, so feel free to play with amount.

    I think I’m gonna use my juicer to make pineapple juice and orange juice for my gummies. I just hate store bought juice. Thanks for sharing 👍🏾

    I tried to make these but the gummies kind of fell apart when we tried to get them out of the mold. Any suggestions?

    Hey I was wondering if fruit puree will also works well or should it just stays with the liquid consistency juice instead? Thank you for the recipe ❤

    • @TheFromScratchFarmhouse
      @TheFromScratchFarmhouse  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't tried it, but I think it would change the consistency considerably.

    • @TheFromScratchFarmhouse
      @TheFromScratchFarmhouse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you try it? I'd love to know if it turned out! I think it would be easiest to do a veggie juice. Pureed might be too thick.

    Is the dropper plastic? I worry about the hot gummies leaching bpa into the gummies

  • @ericg9942

    So they're not room temperature stable like actual fruit snacks that come in the pouches? So are they more like jello then?

    • @TheFromScratchFarmhouse
      @TheFromScratchFarmhouse  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There are no preservatives like store bought, so not shelf stable. They are gummier than jello.

    • @TheFromScratchFarmhouse

      Hmmm... could it be the fruit juice you used? They definitely aren not as sweet as store bought, but the flavor of the juice should still come through.

    Beef gelatin is merely ground up cow hooves and horse hooves. Isn't that yummy

    • @kristenadorno
      @kristenadorno 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually, they use those parts and chop them up and all, then they extract it. So no, you’re not actually eating cow hooves and horse hooves. And the same could be said for collagen as well. A lot of the products we use contain stuff that came from places we might know about but it works. God gave us all the fish and animals on the earth to use and consume.
