  • Homemade gummy bears are way healthier than store bought. We control the ingredients and the sweetness in these healthy gummies. I use frozen berries or 100% fruit juice, honey, and grass-fed gelatin.

    Gummy Bear Recipe:
    Ingredients:
    Fresh/Frozen Version:
2 cups frozen wild or organic blueberries
    5 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. Grass-fed gelatin
    5 - 7 Tbsp of cool water
    1 - 2 Tbsp. honey
    Directions:
Place the blueberries in a microwave safe dish and defrost. Once soft, pour the berries into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour this into a saucepan over low heat. Add the honey and stir.
In another bowl combine the gelatin and the water. Add just enough water to moisten the gelatin when stirring. Let this sit for 2 minutes. Then place the dish into the microwave on high for 10 second increments stirring between heatings. I needed 2 ½ increments.
Once the gelatin is a liquid, pour it into the blueberry mixture and stir until fully combined. Let cool a couple of minutes and then fill your silicone molds with a dropper if you have one or you can spoon it in. Make sure to place the molds on a stiff cutting board that will fit in your refrigerator. This will help you avoid spilling.
Refrigerate for 20 - 30 minutes and then you can remove the gummies from the mold by pushing them out gently.
As per the video, if you don’t want to buy a gummy bear mold you can use an ice cube tray to try it out. Just be sure to grease the tray before adding the gummy mix.
Store these in the refrigerator for about a week in a ziploc bag or a covered container.
    Fruit Juice Version
    1 cup 100% fruit juice
    2 Tbsp. grass fed gelatin
    2 - 3 Tbsp. cool water
1 Tbsp honey or to taste
Follow the instructions above, omitting the blender portion. Enjoy!
    Thanks for watching and sharing!

Pineapple juice and some other fruits (I can't remember if it's Papaya or mango or both) but I think they also have enzymes that digest protein (I think gelatine is a protein). Cheers!

You can’t add hot liquid to gelatin, it has to be cold or room temp liquid then you add the hot liquid when it blooms.

Idk if the comments on this are bots or not, maybe people are just ok with the the taste of death in place of delicious sugar and chemicals in regular gummies lol...seriously if the holocaust had an official flavor these would be it. I used the exact same gelatin, etc. I followed the recipe to a T and these things taste like pure gelatin powder. It's so damn strong you can barely even taste the berries. Honey doesn't make any difference. I even dumped a ton of sugar in to try and fix the mix and while that made them slightly more tolerable, they were just fowl. There are plenty of healthy gummies on the market and these just aren't it...they're too nasty to eat. Adding in mushrooms normally downgrades the taste of any food, but in these I couldn't taste the shrooms I added, just a ton of nasty gelatin flavor. The only reason I even ate all these terrible gummies was to not waste my shrooms I regretfully used in this recipe.
