So glad to have ‘found’ you again on this channel. ‘French Taste’ is a favourite. Your salmon and asparagus with puff pastry is dinner party go-to. Roasted cumin carrot is a regular. I could go on. Thanks for the joy. 💐

I retired less than a year ago so I experienced the transition from lunch to Zoom calls. Every part of my office, lighting, wardrobe etc was designed to reflect the position I held and the authority I had, while reflecting my concern for employees in the field. I wanted my presence on calls to have the feeling of a business lunch. Then I met with men who changed clothes, looked at phones, one on the toilet, and it got worse.
Retirement was such a relief! I miss what business used to look like.

If you haven't met someone in the flesh, you haven't met them. Music of any sort has no business in a restaurant. You go to share a meal and your time with someone to get to know them and have conversation, not be annoyed by music. The best way to know if a restaurant is good is by the clatter of dishes coming from the kitchen. If there is none, leave right away. 💕💕💕

Loud music, definitely not. Soft, barely there music is lovely.

Whether for business or with friends agree meeting for lunch is essential…so much lost thru email, messenger or text..and social media is no place to discuss anything really other than sharing science or local events
Really enjoyed the slight overview and discussion of that book…dining etiquette is an interesting topic and look forward to your next video…

I miss the connection of a planned sharing of a meal. No electronic conductors disrupting the sound of conversation.
