- What can I say other than I am a #PROUD POPPA! Today my Son and I (for the FiRST TiME!) go out trailing with a Larger Radio Controlled trucks, each! But first we notice there is Quite a Bit of SNOW surrounding us - and we need to make some trails. #ProudParenting
See, Moe (Maurice), is 4.5 years old.. has been WANTiNG TO FiLM with Dad ALL WiNTER LONG. For him, thats a large amount of his lifetime. Hah! Finally we are having a beautiful day where we can spend some time together "out on the trail". What an opportunity to teach him all about the great hobby of #RadioControl.. and with a few unexpected surprises.. #Winching and #Towing!
Yes, I got my #Polaris #RZR #XP1000 Stuck in the snow. I had to laugh at my situation.. but it made for an eventful day! This darn stuff is very grainy at the moment and its like driving on ball bearings.
Unfortunately, I got the rig stuck.. Fortunately, I had already equipped the RZR with a Winch - and this is a great opportunity to show my Son WHY we have winches, and how to use one.
Of course, we have a great time getting back to the shop, getting our RC gear (a #Traxxas TRX4 Tactical Unit 1/10th scale, and a Traction Hobby #Cragsman 1/8th scale) and then heading out in the tracks we made.. and the mud we found! No Cats, specifically "Pumpkin", were harmed during the filming of this video. He's used to use being a little crazy..
The Spring Melt will soon be here.. and this place is going to be a SOUPY MESS! Both Maurice and I are looking forward to making new Mud Videos..and to take these rigs into the forest for some great trail runs!

I know this video is old but I gotta say seeing you and your son bonding and making memories is actually therapeutic to me as my wife and I lost our son almost 4 months into her pregnancy and haven't had any luck with another one. Aww, Aaron, I'm soo envious. I just watched for the 4th time and I grin from ear to ear, watching you and the Little Man interacting. He's growing so fast! I was impressed when Moe calculated when to hit the reverse while being towed out. He's learning - he GETS it! Maybe someday I'll have a grandson with which to share RC too. You don't need me to tell you to savour these memories - this is the BEST age for little boys and their dads to bond at and you two are well on your way to having a tight, loving relationship with which no adversity will be able to separate your love for one another. Father and son action! I convinced my dad into the hobby and now he’s hooked. You have know clue what us sons feel when it’s just us and Dad.
And Benny, I have to tell ya.. as a Dad, we have similar feelings when out with our kids!! We love having fun with you too.. just sometimes we forget to be less serious and laugh more! You remind us how to do that.. ;)

Yep great times, and we gotta live in the moment. My son is about 4 and we’ve been hitting the trails in Northern California with our HPI Venture. Its bumps and cuts and poison ivy and great times outdoors hiking and crawling all over. Enjoy brother!

You have been here with us Since the Earrrly days. You have seen the entire story... Before Moe, Introduction of Moe.. and the Growing of Moe. Now he is here in front of you and me.. Driving a 1/10th scale in the snow. That simply blows my mind.. and the fact that you are still here to see it - THANK YOU for all of the years of support DoctorJones :)
Not going anywhere any time soon bud! Watching Mo grow with you, and the hobby brings back many fun(and occasionally frustrating) memories with MY daughter as she was learning with the hobby. I remember when I first let her drive my 2wd slash at 3 years old. She pinned the throttle, and started chasing the truck. Then I had to chase her before it could cross the large yard, and out into the highway!
She's going on 8 this summer. She enjoys wheeling them, and helping me fix/maintain them. She enjoys watching your show, and the family fun that it shares.
THIS is what youtube should be about its awesome seeing a loyal fan talking to someine they love watching
I like to chime in on some videos. Especially when I've got time to really sit down to enjoy them. I fully agree with ya though there is too much negativity in the world. Much better to enjoy the vast amount of GOOD there is when you seek it out.

thats cool i miss doing things with my son when he was young he loved three and 4 wheelers and like me his grandpa taught him to operate the backhoe and the tractors but now he is 6 3 and is turning 21 july 31st they really do grow up too fast and when they get this age they want to hang out with thier friends and as many ladies as possible so im glad your able to spend the time with morris thank you for the effort that youve put into the channel and especially the hobby it really helps keep it alive for the old and pass it on and inspire the young to join in god bless you and your family thank you!
