    What a great design and layout. I especially love how the bedroom balcony railing blocks outside view from the waist down. The only big shortcoming that I see is the lack of an elevator, but I guess the trade off for climbing three flights of stairs is the nicer views from the window plus being in slightly better shape.

    • @CaptainCatch
      @CaptainCatch  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      oicfas4523 haha, yea, the lack of an elevator will become quite troublesome when carrying groceries but other than that, the cardio I will gain might add some days on my life 😆

    Congrats on your new home.

      most japanese people don't need or use ovens often or ever and usually go to bakeries for baked goods I believe. so they took they never put in ovens in housing in Japan. you can always have one shipped to Japan and put into your house.

    Love Japanese design! My husband worked there for a while and I visited him twice out there. He offered me two tips for you, never wear white socks as they always look dirty after floor walking in them (you do tons of that in Japan as you know). They also show sweaty patches unlike dress socks, which looks gross. The other tip he says he had to learn, to mend holes in his socks or replace them quickly as you will get caught out!

    I feel like you've never been here and got the apartment sight unseen. Is that the case? Lol. I love the living room, real wood elements, loft, concrete detail in the loft makes it look very cool and modern, and the balcony off of the bedroom. You can definitely add some wood elements to that balcony to make it look swanky. Even a little balcony table and chairs would fit i think. A balcony garden is a great idea too. Google search or Pinterest search 'tiny balconies' for tons of great ideas. I'll look for the update video. I liked your last place, but the natural light - i forgot to mention that; one of my favorite features, and the modern building, are really cool. You should climb that ladder and see what the roof is like!

    Hi! Since it appears as you no longer live there, I think it's ok to ask. Can you tell me the nave of this building (or a street it's on)? I really like it and I'd like to see some more videos/photos of it.

    I'm looking to go to Hokkaido University next fall, so I was looking at apartments, and I could NOT figure out what the weird thing on the floor was just next to the genkan! I thought it might be for the washing machine, but I'm glad you clarified it lmao

    ayo i got three questions: 1. What phone do you have? the quality of the camera looks amazing. 2. How do you prevent the bath control from getting wet while showering? 3. How do you clean the outside part of your windows if you can only slide them to the side instead of opening them?

    Just came across your channel. I enjoyed ur content man, jst cldnt wait to see when u settled in w all the furnitures installed. Anyway, are the kitchens in most japanese apts that small? I mean if you cook regularly, that's kinda annoying tho.
