    "These are our lands"?
Except they weren't. They were stolen from other people who were then treated badly in their lands.
The song is somewhat tedious as well...

Your history is complicated and controversial, but you are a culture of hard work and great moral values, and to see you gone would be such a loss. @@incumbentvinyl9291Here in Belgium and the Netherlands it shouldn't be that hard for an Afrikaner to get a stay permit or residence, though certifying your education might prove troublesome compared to 30 years ago, as the ZA decline has broken a lot of the relationships between South African universities and Belgian/Dutch ones, though apartheid played some part into that as well. I believe the biggest communities of Afrikaners are in Australia, but knowing the Australian border guards, idk if the offer for white Afrikaners to move there is still active.

Wow lots of people here really don't understand the Rhodesian bush war or the war in Angola. The avg. white Rhodesian or S.African was no more racist than the average American white in the 60s/70s. Lets start with why the war was fought, as it is a common misconception that it was a white army in Africa keeping down its native population. This is false. while Rhodesia was a white minority-ruled state, this is because most of the black population eligible to vote in the early 60s where actually encouraged by African nationalist groups to not participate in the "colonial elections" (this was before UDI in 65), and thus the white minority dominated politics. In the Congo when the Belgians left completely they took the entire Col. government with them, and almost immediately because only 3 of 5000 gov. workers were Congolese (Belgian congo was evil, not arguing for them), and only 16 people in the Congo graduated from university. The Congo immediately fell into a multi-factional civil war. Rhodesia took note of this, their own black population was far better off than the Congo's, but much of Rhodesia was still tribal, Primarily Shona and Ndebele peoples who have historic conflicts with one and other. The Rhodesian gov. understood that these two peoples wouldn't just magically get over their differences if majority rule was simply handed to them. (to be fair this is the fault of the British for never once considering tribal differences when making their colonies) The White minority government of Rhodesia was trying to paternalistically educate its black population to prepare them for proper political enfranchisement. this is more then the Mugabe government ever did for its people, black or white. Second, it was really a war about Communists vs the West. The Soviet Union, and China loved playing up racial politics in their propaganda they sent to Africa, and it worked a great deal. Btw these Communist Guerillas where not freedom fighters. they committed atrocities against black villages for many reasons, usually because they didn't want anything to do with the war, they killed women and children, and would loot homes as well. they were terrorists. Finally you probably didn't know that in total 80% of the Rhodesian Security Force (Rhodesian Military) were Black Rhodesians, and these men where both volunteer, and conscript just like their white counterparts. this includes 40% of army Regulars, and while it never saw the light of day, the Rhodesian army was planning to train black officers, but this was in 1979, and by 1980 Rhodesia was no more.

Maybe the costs will be international sanctions, war threats by China and total isolation, but I’m ready to pay such costs to save the West, to save our Nations! South Africa’s fall shall be remembered as a tragedy for the Western Civilisation and our goal will always be to never fall like South Africa did! My friends, the question today is: DO WE HAVE THE WILL TO SAVE OUR HISTORY, OUR RELIGION, OUR CULTURE AND OUR GREAT CIVILISATION! DO WE HAVE THE WILL TO SAVE OURSELVES FROM COMPLETE DEATH?! From being known as the bread basket or Africa to a net importer of food!! From being known as the bread basket to being known as the basket case!! The world is not wondering what went wrong!! The world conspired to convert Africa to total dependance so that they could loot Africa of its resounces in exchange for dependance!! I don't know if you noticed that, whilst Rhodesia was ACTUALLY independant, it grew massively industrially, but now, in zimbabwe, industry has collapsed??!! That was by design!! I am a South African lad but my aunt and uncle were from Rhodesia. They had a home in Harare and a countryside (I forgot the name of that place). Unfortunately they sold their home back in 80's and uncle met an unfortunate end soon after.
Though that was just the beginning of her struggle as soon 2001 came and bought with itself the devil called Mugabe. He took her land by force where she and my uncle used to farm (with some labourers). That was her one of the two sources of income. As things started getting downhill, she moved to South Africa later that year and till this date lives with us!

It is quite evident to me that a significant portion of you consciously hold the belief that all that has to be done is to establish a Christian "Nationalist" government, and then everything will simply fall into place. However, this is just not going to be the case. Christianity is the reason we are here to begin with. Christianity is really just a form of Judaism that was developed by Joos who were too lazy to practice their religion properly. As a result, they threw out almost all of the rules of Judaism and invented this ludicrously implausible “religion” that has completely destroyed successful societies the world over, including ours. Rhodesia and South Africa were destroyed by Christianity, along with Rome, Greece, the British Empire, the United States and many more states. Do you want to see an even greater European Africa return? Maybe we can start taking such an idea seriously once Cuckstianity is abolished and discarded by White Europeans across the world. Rhodesia was divided by wealth, not primarily race. It just so happened that the whites had moved to Rhodesia from Britain, which just so happened to be the most wealthy nation on the planet at that point. So of course the whites where always going to be wealthier. I'm not going to deny that there was definitely racism in Rhodesia, however it wasn't even to the degree of the American Southern States at the time.

@@suissais4732 okay, that's true. Especially for Rhodesia. Although - don't you think that forcing Blacks to become second-class citizens solely because of their race was wrong? Whites indeed built many great things, but their riches were only for the Whites. "Africa was in the stone age" - and many Africans still didn't live well after Whites came, especially in South Africa. They were forced of the fertile lands. In the apartheid it was hoped that Blacks would remain somewhere away from Whites. What a terrible approach. Whites building cities, modern infrastructure, bringing education? Let them share it with the Blacks. And if the two races combined their forces, amazing things would have been achieved. White-only beach, White-only restaurant, White-only hotel, White-only whatever - was that needed? In this, I support Thabo Mbeki. Race shouldn't matter! Boer, Englishman, Zulu, Indian - they are all South Africans. And should be treated equally as such. But even Afrikaners had these ideas - take de Villiers Graaf and Republican Party as an example.
Fall of apartheid didn't happen as it should have, especially in Rhodesia. But well, I definitely support Zimbabwe-Rhodesia under Muzorewa and Smith than just Rhodesia under exclusive White leadership. There moves in the right direction, but quickly ended unfortunately...
Also, look at Botswana. Ruled by the Black people, but such a prosperous country. It's possible
I compared your views to NSDAP's, because that's how they were: "Germans are a master race which knows how to rule the world. Slavs don't. They should be eliminated and few turned into servants of Germans. They shall have no education, army or whatever. No race-mixing. America is weak, because it allowed great Germans and horrible Slavs and Jews to live as equals". Well, Apartheid was not that radical, but similar

Coming from the Philippines, as a proud filipino myself, having learned about Spanish colonization and the history of colonization in the Philippines before learning about the West's view of victimization amongst all colonized peoples, I find it supremely ignorant that you people would judge the actions of colonizers as immoral by MODERN STANDARDS.

People are making jokes in the vein of “Botswana: ‘aight Imma head out’”, but actually that wasn’t far off.
The regimes of both Rhodesia and apartheid South Africa despised Botswana’s success and stability under Khama (because he was disproving their myth that a country couldn’t be led by black residents) and led plenty of attacks. Since the two countries completely encircled it (Namibia wasn’t independent, it was part of SA then) this led to the founding of the armed forces to combat the threats, which it successfully held off.

    South Africa's system is unacceptable
but Rhodesia's, while still bad, is not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. for example a black man could not vote in South Africa, whereas is Rhodesia, provided he was educated and rich enough, he could vote (which in practice means only white minority could vote, but again in theory a black man could vote), as well as black people being able to be in the same public places. and even if Rhodesia was as bad as people made it out to be, just look at what Mugabe did to Zimbabwe
