My Father WO1 Roy Watson was a proud member of the RAR having joined them in Malaya from the Gurkhas, the rest is history very well made. He served over forty years as a professional soldier, being recalled twice from retirement.
Welcome to Rhodesia Fandom, Fellow American! We are proof that the Rhodesia fan base is growing! Sadly our country didn’t help Rhodesia like we did Israel! I love America! I’m simply disappointed!!
RAR march forever beloved comrades in arms. I will never forget my time at Binga when as a member of the BSAP I used to go on patrol with some of you who were based there. Also remember Sergeant Major Warei who fell whilst giving covering fire to enable his vastly outnumbered patrol to escape in a long forgotten contact in 1967.
Thank you for posting this high quality (1080p HD) ultra professional combo RAR African Singing Voices and the Top Military RAR Band producing a lively hip tempo with a everlasting variety that keeps my ears listening-wide and my feet tapping under the table to your RAR "Sweet Banana" Gold - to - Platinum Quality Recording = Six Gold Stars Top Rating. Book the Sydney Opera House for a Sell Out Performance anytime; Let me know first.
If you notice, RAR is a new TH-cam page. Formed just this year. It tells me that the Rhodesia fan base is growing. I’m a relatively new Rhodesia fan myself. God Bless Prime Minister Smith.
It is interesting to note that in WWII British colonial forces had defeated the Italians in East Africa, driven Rommel into Tunisia, won the battle of Britain, the battle of Malta and the battle of the Atlantic as well as advances in Burma against the Japanese. This was all before American forces entered the war. Few people realize this.
Sadly, my country USA 🇺🇸 didn’t help Rhodesia. Had the UK 🇬🇧 and America helped Rhodesia like Israel 🇮🇱, there would probably be a lot less starvation in Africa today. Unlike basket case, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, Rhodesia was Africa’s breadbasket. I came up with this opinion based on similar comments on Rhodesia.
What was the RAR song that included the line, "FN(i?), MAG uye na mortar....."? In my unit in Guard Force we adapted it to "G3i, LMG uye na mortar". Anyone remember the RA original?
I keep seeing some dullards in these in these comments who never opened a history book in their lives, whining about America’s participation in World War II through their own ignorance, Few people realize that in 1938 as Americans saw Europeans blunder into the same stupidity that caused World War I our military was ranked number 19 in the world because we were not interested in fighting a war guess who is number 18 in the world Portugal that’s right Portugal had a larger military than America in 1939 so we got to work with industrialization building planes, tanks, machine guns artillery pieces and we had what we called the lend lease, which allowed us to arm the British very effectively 99% of the British at the time understood what we were doing and welcomed all the free military equipment because the understanding was they would never have to pay it back America did this as they were starting to build up actual bodies in the military in preparation for the war
There was no free US American equipment. It was initially "Cash and Carry" and later "Lease/Lend" and the wartime British debt to the USA for the latter was only paid off in 2006. The worrying thing today is that much of the Republican Party seems to have returned to the isolationism of the 1930s. It would apparently do a "Munich" with Putin - and we know where the last Munich led!
These guys helped America fight Japan - they defeated the Japanese Army in Burma and helped America win WW2 - they have earned our respect!

Such joyful march! Imagine how better Rhodesia and the Portuguese Ultramar would have been if rhodesians and portuguese weren't betrayed.

Left up to brave volunteers unfortunately....

Israel supported Rhodesia thankfully
If JFK and LBJ hadnt gotten us into Vietnam first maybe the US would have helped Rhodesia win. I really wish we would have.
@@billmcyrus Me too!
Loyal British, and then eventually betrayed by the British government.
Rhodesia was badly served by the British Government!
A terrible backstabbing from Britain

This should be the anthem of all Free Zones.
