@@5150mxVWhi I been loving Videos of you guys rescuing all the vehicles from that place keep it up nice work.
This reminds me of when I ran the scale at a salvage yard. I bought a '71 and a '73 Fastback that were both full of VW parts of all kinds. I took all of the parts and sold them on Ebay. I made a killing. I got the '73 running, and resold both of them to a guy that was planning on restoring them. Those two cars made a lot of VW owners really happy, and I made some money in the process. It was a win win for everyone involved.
NOTHING better than spending time like this with your kid
Enjoy this time moves on and quickly
Teach him well and good family bonding
It takes a lot of time and skill to build something, making sure all the parts and pieces get in in the right order. That’s a fine young man you are building there. I’m 66 and this brought me back to working with my dad when I was your son’s age. Thanks for sharing this.
Wohooo!! What’s inside!!
I would totally straighten that press bumper. Not that bad. We fix ones split in half.
Lots of good stuff there. And we get a new drinking game...every time your son says "like". He rocks.
Haha! I was “ like “ , he sure says that a lot while I was doing the edit haha
It's great to see father son bonding. You're teaching him well.
That kid is hardcore! Lots of neat stuff in there. I wager it won't want to come out in one piece. If it doesn't I can sure use that front bumper. That deck lid is a 58 one. It was right after they stopped using the single brake light design and before they went to the common 59 and up one. So it's like a single brake light one just without the brake light hole. Your hood ornament looks a lot like a late 40's Nash one. Great finds!
Not a THIRD brake light, the ONLY brake light for buses up to late 57.
That's right, I keep forgetting. @@corey6393
When you first look inside you think 'junk' but there is a lot of interesting stuff to be found. Josh is a very eager helper and good to have beside his Dad. Thanks for taking us along and I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Jason, Jen and Josh. 🧑🎄👍👍
Love what you did here. That theme song is great, I love it. That is going to be legendary, a folk/ bluegrass standard. “We push cars around” is stuck in my head. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏👏

Hell yeah dude!! I love the matching father/son outfits!! Rad dude junior in the making!! Cant wait to see more!!!!
We thank you Chris!
Father and son in their element 👍
Rummaging through old stuff is always fun!
...and I loved the ZZ Tree Topper pose in the intro. Every girl's crazy bout a plaid shirt man!
Great video lads
We thank you Mr M
Nice army parachute back pad laying on the ground there +10:12
I live for this kind of stuff!!!
You are doing Great work ! Thanks !
hi Dan, thank you for always dropping in,we appreciate it
👍 doing something a friend does is flattery.
That old jug and iron are worth some money. I hope you saved those.
These are great time capsules and like a treasure hunt for rusty gold. Little man is doing a great job on da camera and narrator!!😊❤
Cheers to ya'll.
That was fun!
Would love to have that old box plane! That’s a nice find.
All of those old bottles are worth some money too. My grandfather and I would walk the Mississippi River bank in our city and pick them up all the time. I have totes full, and we have sold a ton of them over the years.
Good work Billy Bob Joe.
What a great adventure. Memories in the making for You and Josh. Good tidings to you and the whole VW Family...
Father Son Team!
Thumb in a bear trap 😁
An iron! Josh was excited 😂
Wow a lot of headlights.
Hood Ornament I believe is a 1940s Nash! Clean it up and list!!
Ha!! Josh driving!!!!
Wow parts frozen in time
Josh took control of the video! 💪
He’s gonna be sleeping in the truck😂
Merry Christmas my friend!!
Loads of treasure in there. Josh looks to be having a ball, great father and son team
We thank you Al
Always fun diggin' through the junk stored in an old car. VW Buses are even better. That rear pressed bumper in original paint is likely worth the effort for everything else. That flying girl hood ornament is from a Nash. Probably pre-war.
That is incredible, how much stuff was inside of that bus ,glad you got to get it with your son .I would have loved to see that in person…
Thank you, have a great Christmas.
Thank you MR White , you as well
That round taillight you found is for a 63-64 studebaker lark
Its pretty good Josh can identify VW parts . Aircooled forever! VW stopped making good cars when they started putting radiators in them. Thanks for your years content and Merry Christmas to you and your family from me in New Zealand. Save every one of them.
Hey Jason,
Maybe consider taking a small generator and a kero torpedo heater with you...warm up the inside of that bus...might make shoveling/cleaning out the mud and debris a bit easier? Good luck.
Super cool find. Most of the engine stuff is flathead parts carb too. The big head lights probably model T. Some of the mirror are worth $$. I bought a westie that turned out to be full of air-cooled Saab stuff paid for the bus.
Some good stuff. Lil excavation work to get to the wheels. Hopefully continues to thaw and dry out vs freezing. Then a delicate drag out before accessing the 15 window.
I guess it’s time for some new tools? Jack hammer? Back hoe? Can’t wait to see how you save this one!
yes, a jack hammer , hmmm , might just happen haha
Excellent video Jason :) , Josh :) , Mustie 1 :) , also chrome plane hood emblem is a 1955 to 1960's Chevrolet Bel Air car in 2 to 4 door plus wagon ones too !
Great show, guys! Josh is an absolute star! Fantastic to see you guys working together like this. Merry Christmas to your whole family and greetings from a much warmer Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦 🎉🎉
Nice It’s on an N / ICE floor Completely Stable Nothing is Gonna Fall through the Floor that’s a Permafrost 58 Mini Bus , Made with ThatTank Steel ,
Nice
Josh is so cool. Lots of great stuff in the Bus. Might as well cut up the Bus where it sits. Have a great Christmas. Good luck with the Deluxe in the New year !!
Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends.
Nice one guyz, Josh is an all rounder, happy Xmas Jason and family, and thanks for bringing us on all these revival vids the years throughout 🤙🍻🇮🇪
Wow, a 36 HP, trans with reduction box, all Christmas presents for Josh to play "re-build". Merry Christmas to the family.
"Busses in the Stream." Has the makings of a great song.
There's a 1951 Nash radiator mascot on the 'Bay right now, just like the one in your hand at 10:02. With a wooden base, asking $395. The ad claims it's a rare find. Good one guys!
Great to see the Lad out there instead of glued to his phone or tucked away in his bedroom on a video game ....good for you buddy !!!!
1st tailight(round) 62 full size Chev (possibly Corvair too)
2nd taillight looks like '66 Chevelle. I saw some flathead Ford parts in there too. Some collection!
Merry Christmas!!
I was thinking 66 Chevelle tail light too.
Are you dropping this off to Larrys ?? He should have that turned around by spring 😂
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jason. Nice saw. "No live trees!" What a good Daddy. 67-68 Mustang light? Boy that is a lot of hard work.
Merry Christmas to you and you family. Thanks for sharing👍👍👍👍
Another great video looking forward to the next one
Much appreciated
I did this with my son. Not sure if he remembers it much…but I sure do!
That's IT! Josh takes over!!!
😁
Yeah, I would have had to go back to that the first freeze after the bugs.
And at least, emptied them. And jacked them up ??? And blacked them up before the freeze set in.
But…great job. Cool video.
Always look forward to your next video. Keep up the good work 😊
we thank you DigB'
Sorry I should of wrote them down together but I think 37 to 41 ford tail light and a flathead
V-8 intake inside the door. Loving the old VW’s my dad worked at a VW shop when I was a kid
And just love all the older ones. Keep the videos coming You and Josh, both merry Christmas
What a wonderful time! He’s going to remember these fondly ,all his life.

you might need to buy an offroad wrecker? Josh you are a legend!
Pro parenting Jason. This is the stuff you remember in 20 years. Enjoy.
thank you Chris, I enjoyed every minute of that day :)
Nice video, this rescue of the two buses is making a great series. Josh is great as always, he is learning a lot about VW history and how to problem solve, which is really valuable to him. He did great trying to drive a manual bug in that short clip !, it’s a laugh when people try for the first time then the car just ‘Kangaroos’. What works best when I’ve helped people learn, is to allow them to bring the clutch in until it starts to bite with the hand brake (emergency brake) on. Then without increasing the throttle you’ve already set, let the handbrake off and keep your clutch foot perfectly still. Once you’re underway take it off slowly. It works every time for learners who get to experience the clutch working smoothly, no kangaroos…..Josh could do that easily because he has already ridden motorbikes.
Gas tank at 7:52 reminds me of a late 60s / early 70s Chevy C-10 pickup. Gas tank was upright in the cab behind the seat. The tank was wider at the bottom to follow the seat profile. Filler neck came out behind the driver’s door
awesome
We thank thank you 1554
Hi ! The old hedlights are ModelT rear light 8,40 . 46-48 ford . Dan in Sweden.
Good driver
Jason you are making memories that Josh will cherish forever!! Josh is a great videographer/narrator in the making!! Happy Holidays!!

Amazing so many stuf inside bus. father ans son great. Merry Cristmas
Great segment! Love what you do. Nice finds inside. VW and non-VW included. The hood ornament is from a 1950s Nash.
It looks like you have to do alot of digging to free the bus up to get out of there and some the parts inside of it you must love vw s alot to all the work to save them
hi , yes, a lot of digging for sure :)
Hi there that bus 🚌 is just kring 😢out for halp but I think its a very cool 😎 bus 🚌 😎 😀
the heavy hood ornament is from a early 50,s nash it may be signed, pett kool piece
Happy Christmas Jay, Josh & Fam - Mate the hourage on this bus falls well below minimum wage 😂 - for sure this is a crazy one but good times with Jr
.....and I vote Josh to do all the voiceovers for all your vids from now on.
I just came over from Mustie1. You bought a gold mind! You guys should collaborate on everything else. Subscribers love these kind of recovery videos. Money to be made here
Hi 603 , thank you for dropping in to check out some of the vids . I appreciate it . Working w M1 is always fun !
I’d like to be that imaginary guy you keep talking to on the other side of those vehicles you can’t see.
Very crazy but i love it 😅😅🤙
not as crazy as you two fixing yours !!! Check out this channel above👆everyone
Generator and gas blower heaters to thaw makes easier
Yes , I’ll probably bring the “ ole wrap a string start genie and salamander as it won’t be that warm next week digging :)
The flying lady hood ornament came off a 1955-58 Series III Nash Metropolitan.
Great find but such hard work to get the bits out. Keep up the amazing recovery work. I'd love to do this in the UK.
We thank you Nick
Christmas eve and a new video from 5150mxVW what fantastic present thanks guys loved every minute
Happy Christmas 🎄 🇦🇺
Your taillights in question appear to be 62 or 63 Chevrolet. Quite the collection of old headlights in there.
1951 Nash hood ornament. worth $$$$$$$ flying lady
Looks like a great time with your son.
Wow, this has become a must see series, I'm hooked. Got to see what more is in these busses and what condition they appear to be after being extracted. Can't believe folks just cavalierly throw stuff like cars, trucks, machinery back in the woods to rot and just forget about them for decades, but then, I don't have the land or stuff..yet! 🤣
Hi Jason, Great to see you and your son working together on this stuff and he seems to enjoy it which is awesome. I just picked up a old 40hp motor up northwest of Burlington Washington State for 50 bucks plus a bunch of parts. The guy was trying to clear out some of the stuff he has in a machine shop. He has a 58 in there which was so cool. He's building a motor like you have in your blue one. Great young guy like bugworks and watches all you VW guys too.
It’s the Christmas Episode!🎄
