Ah, brings back memories of me in my 21' Cheetah cuddly on the St. John's river with my Dumas nitro powered Vee. Fun times for sure. This was 20+ years ago but I still remember it like it was yesterday. Thanks for reminding me.

This has to be one of the most entertaining and well done videos of RC boating that I have seen, and I've seen a lot of them! Very cool with the wake jumping but I also enjoy how you video the RC boat passing your full size boat! Love how you rode the wake @1:52! Very cool. I had a gas powered one in the early 90s, also a tunnel hull with a K&B 7.5cc outboard. I now have the M41 and actually enjoy it even more. My GPS registered just over 53mph and my boat is 100% stock. Thanks again for the great vid! 😊🚤

Awesome footage! Definitely makes the m41 alot more fun to drive when you don't have to worry about flipping it over! The proboat sonicwake would be great this way too with self righting.
I agree the sonicwake would be perfect for jumping, it wouldn't catch air under like the m41

FREEEEKN P E R Z A C H L Y !!! FIRST OFF your at my home away from home long lake , I did that with my streemline thrasher it was epic fun ! I've got my gieco ready to go just doing the rediculouse break in thing on graphine batteries for it , then I'll be doing exactly that , behind my ski brendella boat , and it will be on long lake ,ALWAYS , best place to find glass to ski and RC boat stuff , great video !

@@FivoNine my darn truck is in the shop , or I would go today , I'll get it back this week , next weekend for sure , weather permitting , I have to admit I'm loosing my mind over the stuff I'm gunna do to my 48g when I get it in November , it's gunna be a great project , but I got the gieco to get aquainted with first 🤣 , I'll try to let you know , we probably put in at Willow bay or what ever they call it now

That looks really fun. I have a couple of small boats. I get them out whenever I go kayaking. That has to be Long lake. I had my little boat out there this last summer. My family has spent alot of time at that lake.

RC boats seem like something I could get into, mostly because it has very little to really crash into and the surface you use it on isn't hard.
You should try it, this was my first boat and I love it 😁
This only explains you can't drive and like to crash your RC cars 🤦🏽♂️
Tape it or rig up a bilge system. Kind of surprised with a traxxas product that it doesn't have a bilge. They like to complicate things sometimes. :) Pretty cool footage!

How did the hull of the boat hold up? Any damage? I have a m41 and i would be hesitante to run it like that lol awesome video tho
The hull was perfectly fine, no cracks 👍
@Joshua Morton - I have an M41 and can tell you that short of hitting something solid at high speed, you have nothing to worry about. Some RC boats are made of polycarbonate and are not as durable as the M41, which is made from vacuum formed ABS. If you aren't familiar with what ABS is, it is used to make white water canoes and football helmets, so you can be sure it is very strong.

Catamarans aren’t good for jumping because of the wind they catch underneath making them flip
