I have watched several reviews on this case and was ready to purchase it until I watched this. THANK YOU for a more in-depth review than the many others. Your actual mounting of hardware and using as designed really shows the limits of the case that an "empty" review fails to show.
Always love your video reviews. They're the best and the most in-depth ones over the web. Love the fact that you always take the time to try every cooling option possible, specially with radiator mounts. I'm looking myself to purchase this case but in white. Nice intro with Pikachu. Keep up the good work!!!
There's only so much that can be done with SFF cases which means they are always going to be similar in some way or resemble something else. There's no doubt you can build a powerhouse of a PC in this and from the outside no-one would guess. If the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for you then it will appeal to you whatever other people think.
TastyPCTV I just saw a picture of it from a different angle (from above, 3/4 view) and thought it looks more like a small portable generator, is that image more appealing ?
Ian Clarke PongoXBongo Both of those images are definitely more appealing than a pet carrier lol. Although now I think if there was just nothing on the inside, so it was like an empty frame, if I removed the front mesh, my bunny would probably love to snuggle in there.
I love how you say, "Let's get started" in every review video. Oh and i like how you your nails are colour coded to the same product your reviewing haha 😄 Your vids are very informative and i wish you all the best! 👍
By the way, a Coolgate G2 120mm radiator can fit in front with the ports facing down and lines up with the screw holes in the front panel. So even without modding you can get up to 360mm radiator space in there.
please you can help me a build a pc i have the same case I have a doubt with the 3 cables in the corner right 5:09 and the one of sata power, what are they and where are they connected?
It's nice that they included 4-pin fan connectors. Too often when vendors include fan controllers with a case they are 3-pin and any PWM fans don't work because the 3-pin fans are enclosed by plastic shrouds, so either I need a PWM splitter or plug one or two fans into the motherboard. I checked this out at the local computer store, and I have to say it is by far the most rigid and well built case Corsair has made in a long time with thick, strong metal and zero chassis flex. It feels like I could toss it out a second storey window and it wouldn't bend.. Great review once again, and thanks for the radiator options. BTW, as an add-on, you can't fit a 120mm radiator in the back fan slot, only the front or sides. Also, if Corsair gave you the info on a front 140mm radiator, that's not possible without mods either. Finally, the only 240mm radiator that may fit in the front, by modding or removing the disk cage metal, is the Swiftech H220x. There is only about 260mm in height clearance in the front. FYI and thx!
Haha love the intro Lauren, also great review of the case, there should be a black and red version for sure! (other than just black with red led lights)
Goosebumps. I was thinking that while they look good, the side panels will get ugly fast due to dust which is never easy to clean from similar panels. Few seconds later she says the same.
its been a while since i watched one of your videos, but really looking into a MiniITX build myself and i have watched a few reviews of this case, your one is right up there!! really in depth, and you covered all the bases which helped me in deciding the case for my build! on a side note, i remember when Tasty PC was 250+- subs, and you were wanting to add your version of rating system, im glad to see you got your rating system now :) Has TastyPC become what you planned?
I've been loving all the reviews for this little case. I'm interested in switching from my prodigy, this is a lot more ventilated and the handles on my prodigy are sharp and uncomfortable to grab.
I've never owned a Prodigy so I can't comment on the handles. I find though that when I'm carrying the 380T around, I still carry it from the bottom, rather than by the handle lol.
What sort of max temps did the 970's hit during the benches? Curious as i run sli'd gigabyte wf gtx 780's in the formula 6 board. Temps can get quite high on the top card. And the amount of heat dumped into the case leads to an increase in cpu temps, (i7 4790k @4.7ghz, phanteks enthoo primo case). Ive actually considered switching to reference cooled gtx 970's.
they deficiently need an all windowed side panel for this case would look sick. Maybe a smoked glass one with the original window clear like it is here already
I love that you painted your nails to match the case, made me wonder how much better the world would be if more girls were into pc building/gaming and incorporated their girly sensibilities into their kickass machines. I love your accent too, so please keep your channel alive and never change.
Your videos are amazing, Pickachu! Seriously though I don't think anyone does these vids better, as much as I like Linus/Luke/Logan/Insert name that starts with L here.
If Ash had a Pikachu that looked that good, people would have tried harder to get it off him... Awesome little case, very unique break from Corsairs more traditional style of building. Thanks for highlighting it...
After 6yrs of having a fulltower cases, Im thinking to go itx cases (less spacious). should I go 380T or Prodigy? im planning to use sealed water cooling (h100 etc).
Lauren, it is a interesting case (and outfit !). Did you finish building it and do you use it? How is the dust on the side panels after several months? It was during your review an interrogation you made to yourself.
I'm torn between this and the 250d. The 250d is more practical and I think I'm leaning towards making a stealth black build. The looks and easy portability of this thing and the fact that its more friendly to air coolers just keeps pulling me back. So its perfect living room no compromise g-htpc build vs the perfect lanbox, that's my dilemma.
that gtx670 is tiny. it doesn't have the pcb extension like my msi 670 pe oc :P. i think thats small though because the 7970 lightning dwarfs it. not much good in an itx case though.
awesome intro should use that for all your vids.. i'll admit im slightly bias as i grew up on pokemon and still love it to this day... first gen master race ftw
Lol it wouldn't go with none Pikachu/Pichu themed vids though and I see myself more as second gen, as the first Pokemon game I played was Crystal, I was only 8 when it came out lol.
hey, im planning to get tis case for my next pc build, but i just realised that theres no dvd bay. is there a way i could do this, cause i really need a dvd reader for my games. nice vid by the way 😉 keep up the good stuff
I agree with your dings on the case. They could have looked at the BitFenix and made a better design. I also very much liked the PC same color ears and your bunny ears and yellow outfit.
Nopes I made the Ears and Tail myself lol, from cardboard, felt and the squishy hard foam that comes boxed with fans and other such parts. Also lot's of super glue lol. Glad you liked the review. :)
TastyPCTV Haha I still have all my component boxes from my build a couple years ago but sadly I don't think I could pull off the Pikachu ear quite as well as you do :)
I really like the yellow since the market is SO saturated with black cases (and probably always will be). I just noticed the case had Pichu ears while typing this comment, even though I just watched the whole video and thinking to myself, "those Pikachu ears on the case look a bit weird".
Im in Afghanistan and im building a pc out here to keep me entertained. But need a small case like since I don't have much space. Great review, it seems to be the perfect little case for my needs. Thanks
760T all day! However. This case is great for lan parties. Looks very portable! I wouldn't go all crazy with the fans. I would just mount an h60 to the back and two 120 intake fans and call it a day.
Now that I've had to take the Industrial Noctua's out of it for other things, I only have the 2x fans on the H80i fitted and a single rear exhaust and temps wise it seems to be fine. The 760T is a really nice case, did you see my review of it? :) th-cam.com/video/brhK0dh51-s/w-d-xo.html
Of course I did. 😃 I'm in the process of starting a custom computer company with a friend. My computer is the one below the R-Spec-1. Www.Pcpegasus.com.
Hello Lauren (hope I got your name right) - I like the look of this case. Will a Micro ATX board fit in this ? I have an Asrock Q1900M. Never sure about the different sizes... I do have it in a Silverstone case atm which is more old style flat type that the monitor sits on. I like the look of this Corsair case though, I am tempted ! Thanks for the review :)
Epic *appear!*. Not so much for the case itself. Even if it's sturdy, its looks remind me of some of Antec's worst gaudy mesh-heavy designs from a couple of years back. It's also kinda huge for an ITX case. Maybe some modders will find the framework good to build on while totally remodeling the sides and front.
lol... for a minute there I actually thought that the ears on the case were real, well played girl, well played ;) I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever said that: Those fingernails go well with that case :)
excellent, indepth, fun review as expected (always) from your vids.... little distractions in the begining and at end - couldnt synchronize my eyes and ears - this time :)
If there was ever a moment to use a masterball... This would be that time
You sir have won best comment on the cosplay:D
It is a really nice case! :D
TastyPCTV I guess he is not talking about the case ;)
TastyPCTV Yeah.. he doesn't mean the case at all
you just won the internet
I don't think we'll ever see Linus colour matching his nails to his case reviews ... well done Lauren! :D
You never know.
ivo215 dont be sure of it...his sponsors once had him breath helium and take a pie in the face ..so who knows
ivo215 I always try to match my nails when I can :)
i dont think majority of people are watching her because of PCs
Now she's more than just glowing. I got the shock of my life.
Just hearing her talk is therapeutic.
I have watched several reviews on this case and was ready to purchase it until I watched this. THANK YOU for a more in-depth review than the many others. Your actual mounting of hardware and using as designed really shows the limits of the case that an "empty" review fails to show.
Excelent review Lauren. I appreciate how your videos are always in-depth and very fun to watch.
Thanks, that's nice to hear. :)
I love the nail polish matching of the case. Makes it a highlight when you point out things on the Corsair case.
Always love your video reviews. They're the best and the most in-depth ones over the web. Love the fact that you always take the time to try every cooling option possible, specially with radiator mounts. I'm looking myself to purchase this case but in white. Nice intro with Pikachu. Wow, I'm glad you really like my videos and find them that informative. :D
I had to cover radiator options, as it's what I'd want to know. :)
Your unboxings and reviews are splendid! Always with a builders' eye view for the details that really matter!
This was one of the most unique and well done videos I have even seen, very well done!
It appears to be a computer case design based on a pet carrier, I reckon my cat would love it though ;-)
I see it now, you've ruined it for me **grumble**..
There's only so much that can be done with SFF cases which means they are always going to be similar in some way or resemble something else. TastyPCTV
I just saw a picture of it from a different angle (from above, 3/4 view) and thought it looks more like a small portable generator, is that image more appealing ?
TastyPCTV With the mesh panels it looks a bit like a giant bluetooth speaker/sub combo.
Ian Clarke PongoXBongo Both of those images are definitely more appealing than a pet carrier lol. Although now I think if there was just nothing on the inside, so it was like an empty frame, if I removed the front mesh, my bunny would probably love to snuggle in there.

Good review, I like how you always mention what radiators can fit in cases.
Thanks, I love to watercool so it's information I'd want to know. :)
Love the review, keep them coming :)
My day just isn't complete without a TastyPC TV review. :P
Glad you like it! I will have to start making more videos then if you want to watch one a day lol :P
Haha love the intro Lauren, also great review of the case, there should be a black and red version for sure! (other than just black with red led lights)
Love the Pichu ears and the intro was awesome. Great review as always! Keep it up!
Thanks, glad you liked the vid and the ears too. :)
Excellent video, You always have a keen insight into what you are talking about the the 'fiddly bits' of making it work or issues with installation.
Thanks, glad you like it :)
As always, very well done, Lauren. Lived the intro, haha. Keep o the great work.
Hey, glad you liked it :)
Loved this funny and entertaining review. You truly are like the Goddess of the tech community = )
AND she knows what she's talking about.
Bless your heart hunni!
"I'd love to know whether you think I should cosplay up more cases in the future?"
This.
Yes.
Goosebumps. I was thinking that while they look good, the side panels will get ugly fast due to dust which is never easy to clean from similar panels. Few seconds later she says the same.
Not sure why but nice to hear you talk. Is very therapeutic like stated below.
The Cos-Play is why I watched the video, Amusing and informative. Think you found your unique winning formula.
I won't be able to cosplay very often sadly, but it was a lot of fun. :)
Great reviews Lauren! Keep up the good work :)
quite stunned, she is absolutely GORGEOUS in all respects as well as sounding very knowledgeable.
Nice little case, the shape is interesting. Great review as ever.
P Reilly Glad you liked the review. :)
its been a while since i watched one of your videos, but really looking into a MiniITX build myself and i have watched a few reviews of this case, your one is right up there!! really in depth, and you covered all the bases which helped me in deciding the case for my build!

that intro is just OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM. PIKACHU!!!!! great video :)
I just love this case so much! Corsair has really made a great case for ITX gamers
Agreed :)
I really want some form of handled case instead of a regular tower, may go for this.
Checkout the Corsair C70 , have loved everything about the case so far
+alfieengland Ismael Navarro Depends what form factor you want to go for I suppose. I do really like the C70 though.
On a side note, I find your voice dear Lauren very pleasant, or even a bit mesmerizing.
I've had a lot of people tell me my voice triggers AMSR for them, but then also a lot of people tell me they really hate how I talk lol..
Can't deny that's a thorough review. Case is a bit small for tastes, though.
It's actually quite a bit bigger than your standard Mini-ITX case, but mITX isn't for everyone.
Metapod used harden!
lol
God no..
MrNoodless DEUM U VALVE
But it's not very effective!
Pikachu use Thunderbolt
Any chance a set of fans would fit on the outside of the bracket?
What sort of max temps did the 970's hit during the benches? Curious as i run sli'd gigabyte wf gtx 780's in the formula 6 board. Temps can get quite high on the top card. So much color coordination in this video
I like everything to match. :)
they deficiently need an all windowed side panel for this case would look sick. Maybe a smoked glass one with the original window clear like it is here already
So a clear strip running along the top, but the rest is smoked out? That would actually look really nice.
yep think it would like you said in the video I to am not a fan of mesh sides the only one I owned had to be hovered far to often
Yeah it's funny how many reviewers names start with L lol. I'm glad you like my vids and it's epic to hear that you think they're that good. :)
If Ash had a Pikachu that looked that good, people would have tried harder to get it off him... Awesome little case, very unique break from Corsairs more traditional style of building. Thanks for highlighting it...

Seriously, respect for your efforts. but what I wonder is... Can it learn thunder?
Only at level 21!
Best build out so far for the 380t!
Should be illegal to be this beautiful and have a love for PC"s... She breaks so many stereotypes it's not even funny... Love it!
Lauren, it is a interesting case (and outfit !). Did you finish building it and do you use it? How is the dust on the side panels after several months? It was during your review an interrogation you made to yourself.

So its perfect living room no compromise g-htpc build vs the perfect lanbox, that's my dilemma.
So its possible to have watercooling on graphic and cpu in this case?
are you going to review the new gtx 980? a lot of other people already have..
That intro!!
That comment!!
doing a build atm for a friend potentially with this case, could you tell me does a standard psu fit in and if so any heating issues found?
Dat voice tho. Got the whole ASMR thing going on. Super soothing.
I'm all about micro atx cases:) but can you liquid cool in this pc?
Your presentation skills just keep getting better and better. I have to ask, you must really have a thing for yellow?
Thanks, I am slowly getting there. :D
I like yellow, but I don't have a thing for it lol :P
TastyPCTV Well you look cute as hell in yellow or any other color. Enjoy your video's and look forward to learning from them.....thanks !
Yellow nail polish to match? Love it
ha ha, love pikachu!!!! good review Tasty! :)
Pika! Glad you liked it :)
Great video yet again Lauren keep up the good work.
Thanks, glad you liked it :)
that gtx670 is tiny. it doesn't have the pcb extension like my msi 670 pe oc :P. i think thats small though because the 7970 lightning dwarfs it. not much good in an itx case though.
Yeah they are really small, definitely a bad choice for my 900D review build lol :P
th-cam.com/video/2TFou20hvmA/w-d-xo.html
TastyPCTV yeah they look quite silly in a 900d
Oh hi there, Pikachu! ^^ I loved you in the reality-tv show Pokémon! I hope you succeed in your goals of becoming the best Pokémon there ever was
wihlke Lol :P
Not a corsair fan because I have one and its soso but this design has caught my attention for layouy and design, quality ??
I like this new direction, nice cosplay. Chuuuuu!
Can you make a review on the BitFenix Aegis?
Nice review, the case looks really cool, might end up getting it :)
It does look nice indeed. If you do I'd love to see a pic of your finished build. :)
How can you not fall in love with PC Pikachu
I wish the SilverStone SG13 had a 200mm fan then I'd buy that in a heartbeat. There's even a pink version
I get goosebumps when it listend to this xD and also sleepy. awesome review.
Please please please do more cosplay cases!!! Really enjoyed this one, do you know where you got your pichu ears from?
I made them myself. :)
That intro made my day lol!!! great review
ianrob1000 Thanks :P
awesome intro should use that for all your vids.. i'll admit im slightly bias as i grew up on pokemon and still love it to this day... first gen master race ftw
OMG OMG plz do more vids, u have such a beautifull voice and nice review btw ;)
I see you have put effort into the choice of your nail color :P
your voice make me feel calm
where can i get the pika-mod? :D
Your voice is sooo relaxing
Keep up the great work, that's a real pleasure.
Can the asus matrix gtx 780 ti fit in this case?
I agree with your dings on the case. They could have looked at the BitFenix and made a better design. I also very much liked the PC same color ears and your bunny ears and yellow outfit.
This case is trying to look so cool, but after this review i am sure that air 240 is definitely a better choice for a small watercooled rig.
Erm... did you just have the Pikachu ears and tail lying around the house lol, Nice review :)
This is more of a tutorial than a review, lol. Thanks, though! a tutorial/review combo is always appreciated.
This build is beautiful!
Epic intro! Great review!
Thanks :D
I really like the yellow since the market is SO saturated with black cases (and probably always will be). I just noticed the case had Pichu ears while typing this comment, even though I just watched the whole video and thinking to myself, "those Pikachu ears on the case look a bit weird".
Awesome video and sweet little case.
I'm sad this case has been discontinued.
Another delicious review :)
Thanks :P
I didn't get the price. Lauren's review is indeed illuminating.
There are pricing links in the description. :)
Hey, yeah you got my name right. Nope a Micro-ATX board won't fit in it, as Mini-ITX is a smaller form factor the Micro-ATX.
TastyPCTV Ahh, that's a shame, oh well thanks anyway :)
I can see modder's really loving this case, but yeah the plastic isn't for everyone.
The intro gave me nostalgia and terror at the same time.
Hehe :P
lol... for a minute there I actually thought that the ears on the case were real, well played girl, well played ;)
I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever said that: Those fingernails go well with that case :)
The nail varnish was an exact colour match to the case, it's called "Electric Yellow", it was like it was mean't to be :P
Where did you get those drapes?
You mean the curtains? No idea, they're the families choice, not mine. I'd have a neutral coloured wall or something if I could.
Woah, nice intro miss. And you're very pretty and smart.
excellent, indepth, fun review as expected (always) from your vids.... little distractions in the begining and at end - couldnt synchronize my eyes and ears - this time :)
