I remember getting the news of the four members leaving at 31/3 2012. And I remember thinking that THAT was the the poorest April Fool joke ever played!
I would love to watch it tomorrow friday, but I Will have to watch it at a later time. I'm at Sweden rock festival and kind of busy 😊🤘
The Swedish version of this album is, and probably will always be, my favourite Sabaton album. Maybe it's because it's the first one I ever heard, or maybe it's because i'm Swedish, but either way I keep coming back to it again and again.
I was at Thobbe's , Chris and Robban's, first show in Finland with the band at Helsinki's Tuska Festival 2012. So much memories. Thank you Sabaton for everything. <3 you guys!

This album started the whole family - four kids, my husband and med - getting real metalheads. My oldest daughter heard it on the radio and forced me to buy the album ;-). My younger daughter was one year old and used to sing the songs as best she could - today she is much better at it of course. The youngest member of the family was yet unborn, but forced to listen nevertheless. Now he is the the familys main metalhead and very disappointed that eleven years is too young for most concert locations. His main wish for his thirteenth birthday is a Sabaton Show. So, Sabaton, hopefully there is a show when he gets 13 in two years time!
Controversial opinion: Long Live the King is the best song on this album. It just hits hardest, especially amongst the English versions

Treadmill run music yesterday was the Swedish version of this album. I know almost no Swedish (yet!), but I still love it! Gott Mit Uns is my favorite track in either language. Probably because it's the most fun to jump to (but not on the treadmill LOL). Very excited about watching the listening party tomorrow!!
A Lifetime of War is by far my favourite song on the album and even one of my favourite overall. Whenever I hear it I got instant goosebumps.
“En livstid i krig” is a fucking masterpiece.
My 12yo have been struggling with “Stormaktstiden” in school, but thanks to this album she’s now have gone from an F (failed) to a E (pass), and had fun on the way!

Seeing this entire album played live at Fredriksten fortress in Norway 2017 ( Tons of Rock Festival ) was epic ! This fortress was the actual place where Carolus Rex was shot and killed. 🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻
