Not a big fan but I do dig the first 3 albums. Did John Joesph come back for a reunion or something? Or sort of in and out. I know he did some vocals on Alpha Omega.
Thanks! On youtube there are a couple of videos from their 1991 european tour but american dates are really rare. I can only remember a vhs of a show in Providence RI and another one of the last L'Amours show (with Leeway and Biohazard) floating around some years ago. Would be cool to see something from the Best Wishes tour too.
I was at a London, UK show in June 1991 and it was strong. Real crossover crowd of skins, mohawks, crusties, metalheads and confused looking grunge kids ❤
Jean-Marc DABLIN nah I think it was Dave DiCienso at that point, cuz he played on the last records with JJ. Good drummer, runs his own shop/ teaches classes in my town nowadays
Dave was the best drummer the Mags ever had. Mackie is great, and matched their bands character perfectly, and helped define hardcore drumming forever. Best fit for them by far. Pete Hines was also amazing. But Dave is the most versatile and techinically talented of the lot. I wish it were Dave here, but this drummer is left handed. Not sure who it is
Egos war , a band doesn’t work with that . If you look at the nyhc history you realize that some bands were, are and will be “ successful “ for their respect up the stage , sick of it all , madball , agnostic front , Murphy’s law , h2o , gorilla biscuits , judge

Harley looks like Swan from the Warriors
Hahaha
I remember this show. One of the best hardcore shows I ever saw. I was at the L'Amour show as well. But nothing beats a NYHC show at CBGB.

the cro-mags are in good shape... is there a cro-mags diet I can go on?
in 1991 I think their diet included some additional substances as well
100% talent, meth and resentment.
So fucking metal
Давай, жгииии!
Punk rock is not being ashamed to rock an afro onstage!

@@rustatum2382 It was Amit Shamir. Harley wrote about him in his book.
