I bought a truck and it has idatastart system installed with remote starter, that ground wire you mentioned I have but it’s cut… I have no clue how the system is even powered and if that cord is the only things that’s causing it to not work. I have the remote and it doesn’t respond to the truck, also the antenna that’s attached to the windshield has no light indicator if it even is supposed to show one. Pleaseeee help if you can brother ❤
I have a manual so I don't need to bypass mobilizer for remote start. What would be total time for your install without that? Pretty sure my 2008 is the same more or less? Let me know?
how do you remove an old one that died? it has stranded me for years. i can see brain but its behind radio, have to take out radio anyway. cause it no longer works truck looks like disaster please help

Immobilizer applies to both auto or manual trans. Time depends on your experience

Pretty much just follow all wires they tapped into and make sure use tape and secure all wires from vehicle side
@FlipSideGarage would it be ok to send pictures, cause I can see big black box but can't remove it cause jammed in behind vent
@@timfrancis6774 have to figire out a way to remove the box first and trace all wires..wont be to bad
