Very sadly I had no idea GVF existed at that time So much regret about that. I’m definitely making up for lost time Own all their albums and seeing them in September
To think they were in a neighboring State where I have family living and I could’ve seen GVF But Ive only recently found them I follow them now so I’ll never miss them again
A good friend of mine saw them in green bay, apparently… He just casually brought it up….I wanted to leap off the couch and choke him… He said “I didn’t even know who they were, I went with a friend, back when they were not as popular as they are now”
This was one of my favorite songs of the night. I was 3rd row.... and signing every note. I appreciate this moment... it brings the element of live music forward especially knowing he was battling a ruptured ear drum during this performance. This night will always live as one of the best live music moments for me.
Thanks for posting this! We were at the ManchVegas show and I remember Josh was talking during this song, but couldn't make out a word he was saying during the entire show! The acoustics in that arena have always been less than stellar!
Absolutely fucking incredible. Mesmerizing. I can tell how seriously they take this one, appreciate Josh’s focus. Watching their videos is feeling really good for helping my childhood trauma. :’) And their aesthetic is impeccable! Love Josh’s outfit.
Broken Bells is about how a band of sisters tried to break up their band by getting pregnant and leading them into matrimony and forgetting about this Rock n Roll music. Priorities, people!
Best cover of Stairway to Heaven Ive ever heard. Terrible solo though, theres a big difference between playing fast and playing with emotion and having a musical idea or direction. This solo goes no where.
Go listen to some mumble rap. Jake has plenty of solos that will take you through peaks, valleys, and beyond. This solo has its place in the song and is seen more of an outro. You're also neglecting the sheer brilliance of the acoustic work in this piece. Be glad they're keeping rock alive and well, hater.
@@JohnDumont-d1h I love rock, been playing guitar for 23 years let me tell you a fact, friend. Rock is DEAD. It died in 2010. Accept it. Ive been hearing, "dont worry, every 10 years another Nirvana will come around" for 20 years and it hasnt happend. Everything has it s time and place. Rock music was amazing from 1955-1995 and ran on fumes for another 10 years after that but nowadays its gone except for bands ripping off the past. Just accept it.
These guys are single handedly carrying rock music higher than anyone has in years
Yesss ❤GVF❤
The electric guitar solo could be on a continuous loop and I would never get tired of it. Thanks for capturing that stellar performance!
Same! That’s one of my favorite Jake solo’s right now.

Their finest monent, in my opinion. The guitar solo is fantastic. Should be winning polls...

@jasminewhite459Ah! That explains why he sounds a little off key -I have never heard him anything but note perfect before.
Wow, awesome vocal range by Josh.

I bet he laid this guitar solo on the record..110/10
