I'm upgrading from my Haswell refresh era i7 to Arrow Lake, when it hits. Arrow Lake, Lunar Lake for mobile, will be big improvements. My i7 4790 does everything well for me, but will not be supported later on. Desktop TOPS will easily beat mobile by 2.5x, due to the Tensor cores, and more powerful CPU. I still do my work on a desktop with a LARGE screen, Ethernet, mechanical KB. Mobile just cannot compare.
I'm curious what EU will have to say about this direct Windows integration. It feels like an anti-competitive move shipping Windows with it and not being an optional app installation, to allow other companies to integrate their own AI systems too.
