The old Atlantic City was great in the summer with the smell of Coppertone and Taylor pork roll in the air and also the Steel Pier was a wonderful way to spend the day.
Loved this! Atlantic City is my favorite local vacation destination. Only 2 hours from home and so much to see and do. I normally go a couple times a year, but this year I didn't get the chance to go at all, so thanks for the memories. I don't gamble, but I love the shopping outlet.
Thanks Jacqueline. I know right.....I live in NJ and its only 1 1/2 hr drive and like you said it is a great local vacation place. Recently they opened 2 brand new casino, we stayed at Ocean Resort (former Revel Casino) and we had a great time. My husband and I don't like gambling either but enjoyed our stay at Ocean Resort, food, boardwalk, steel pier and shopping etc.If you are planning to go this year then stay at Ocean Resort Casino, you will love it. Atlamtic City boardwalk is an enjoyable evening and weekend. The beach is clean. Anybody that knows Jetsey shores would agree Wildwood has the beat boardwalk, incentive and spread anywhere. Give snapps to folks in Atlantic City, they spruced up their beach . boardwalk and casino areas.

Lenny, even today the Atlantic City Boardwalk and Steel Pier is a great place to have a fun with the family.
