I don't know about the 1970's but from what I have heard about Atlantic city today, other than the boardwalk and hotels on the oceanfront, the inland is rundown.

Very nice tribute! And great song to boot. IINM, I think this song was in the 1980 film Atlantic City with Burt Lancaster... I could be wrong but I think it is.

I met Gino, marchetti, in person, Glen Burnie, md, about 1 year ago. signing autographs, with a picture. I had him sign a picture of Ginos, on the Boardwalk, 1970.... I loved Ginos, food. now no more Burger king, no, Ginos,, only McDonald's..., they were okay when first opened... but I looked forward to going in Ginos, when we stayed at Seaside, motel... so close to Steel pier.... next stay will be in 2 years, Resorts international Hotel, and Casino.... taj, mahal, trumps hotel, no more,,, will soon to be open again, by help, of Tony, catonosa... owner of the Steel pier.. I spoke to him, he is a very nice man...
