Then later the narrator and Walter were on the river fishing, and Wilson and his cousin passed them by in a faster boat. As the narrator and Walter went further up the river, Walter was shot from the bank of the river and his body fell into the water. The narrator couldn't see where the shot came from, and the authorities never found Walter's body, so they ruled it an accidental drowning. But the narrator knew Walter was shot, and Wilson bragged around town about doing it. So a little bit later, the narrator came back and killed Wilson, then decided he was going after Wilson's cousin(who was with Wilson when Wilson killed his brother) as well.

Love Chris Knight's music. 54 years old and been running the rivers, bayous and bays of Florida and Alabama my whole life. Love it. Live for catfishing, floundering, mullet, crabbing and redfishing. I usually launch 1 day, fish overnight and come back sometime the next... or the next lol. Life on the water especially at night is what restores my soul and gives my mind peace. But I don't never run the woods or water without at least one gun in the boat. To many times that ain't got nothing to do with people that a gun is handy and 99% of the folks you run up on on the water at night are good folks, salt of the earth. But there's also a lot meaness and evil folks goes on. Particularly near banks and boat ramps. I love folks, especially fishermen. But when I see a stranger at night on the water I try and avoid them and I'm always friendly but don't trust and always question the situation. Just too much evil in some people's hearts.
