Hi Oillie, honest review, I went from a skid steer to a wacker neuson th412 I find it absolutely perfect on the farm and haven’t found any issues with the lift capacity and have put 1000hrs on it in two years
Hi Ollie, I first saw one at an expo in 2013 and I thought the same 1200Kg's not enough. Bought mine in 2017 have used it in construction, civil, farm work and commercial garden maintenance I can't hire one this size so I bought it after 1300 hrs of some very difficult jobs I am looking at upgrading to the improved model. PS I can see your points and that's why it took me 4 years to buy one.
The significant advantage of a skid steer is the grading and pushing. With a skid you could have just built a ramp and pushed the muck as high as you like!
You are right, but you cant tow any of the skid steers with that kind of power over here. We don't have proper trucks and trailers like you do in the states!
Hi Ollie Looks a nice handy machine but if its not got the lift compacity you need mite be good on a farm for bales a around small buildings looks like euro 8 attach meant nice review thanks again
It would be a great little machine for round the farm and would do those kind of tasks with ease. But for the £40k purchase price, you can buy an awful lot more for your money where the towing weight isn't an issue!
This is a good tip. It seems to have enough power, its the computer that stops it lifting long before the machine is unstable. A few weights on the back might just help, good idea.
Hello Ollie I just found your channel and I really enjoy it. I did hit the subscriber button lol anyway I got to thinking it might be a really slim possibility that we are related. My grandmother on my father's side had the maiden name of Gunn. But her family was originally from County Cork in Ireland. Anyway I thought it was cool to see someone on TH-cam with that surname. Great videos by the way.
Thanks, I believe the Gunn name is originally Scottish and my dad said there is a Gunn tartan should I ever wish to wear a kilt! Not sure where the "s" was added to my name but chances are a long time ago we came from the same place. Its quite an unusual surname.
Like your reviews, you must have had a bad one of these though. We have 3 of them now and move all our materials etc with them. We always move full packs of 7nm blocks and even the tegula pavers which are 1300kg marked weight. Don’t get me wrong it’s right on its limits with those and requires a good careful operator but it’s doable. Keep up the good work it’s interesting to watch your videos including the idig stuff I must be honest and say I struggle with some of the idig functions. Not everyone sees the advantage of investing so much money into the smaller plant side however it works for me and clearly does for you. 👍
I had a look yesterday and the load chart inside it says it has a max capacity of 1200kg so you must have a good one! It was beeping at me angrily with a bulk bag this week... its not giving my confidence of lifting packs of blocks etc about - which as you say are at least 1200kg if not a little more. I've moved a pack of 50mm paviours but it didn't like it at all. Maybe this one needs its RCI looked at?
I've used a 760 but not the 800 series yet. Both this telehandler and the 860 are similar prices, with the Avant being more of a tool carrier over a forklift which would suit my needs better. But you cant deny, this is a pretty cool mini machine for the right application

Hi only have 3000 hours on mine now, couldn't bear to be without it
Its a brilliant little machine. I just wish it could lift just a bit more - always pushing the limits!

Have you ever tried a small wheel loader like the tobroco giants or the weidemann wheel loaders?
I'd love to see your opinion of such a machine...
Thanks for another interesting review!

Strap bigger counterbalance to the back of the Wacker Neuson TH412, when you fit about 80-100kg to it can easily shoot around with a bale of bricks.

How would you compare that to the articulated tele loader by the same maker?
I've not driven the articulated model so cant say unfortunately
Ate you going to do a eggscavator challenge???
Maybe set it up with the IDIG to do it lol
Cool little unit.
Làm sao mua được chiếc này
Our 200hr machine has been broken for 4 months, believe me the service is appalling
Avant 860i 😍👍

Looks like a bobcat.
