Hi guys, my name is Josh and I work at North Wyke, a Mid-Devon Agricultural Research Institute farming nearly 700 acres with a mix of Beef, Sheep, and Arable. I hope you enjoy the videos, I try to make them informational but also entertaining for you all.

Little bit more info for you all. The orange button on the top left with a hare on it is a hi low range changer, 18k in low up to 30k in hare.
Runs a yannmar engine, the same as what is used in the Gator. 1400kg max lift.

Nice video Josh! Lambing is a very cool thing. Appreciate the footage. The Kramer seems nice - maybe a bit narrow in the cab from what I saw in camera view. Solid machine though. Thanks for the video!
Definitely a small cab, but it’s a very small machine. Busy lambing now!

It’s a great little machine! Hopefully masons have forgotten about it and it can stay! 😂 Suzanne is part of the sheep team! She has her own flock at home on her farm and works here as well

£52-53k I think is what we were told. Not 100% sure though!
Why haven't the sheep and lambs got any straw?
They are on some sort of chippings only because it helps stops the spread of diseases than on wet straw. The ewe’s with lambs in a single pen all day and night, chippings is a lot easier to scrape out and change.
Exactly as the comment below says, they are on sawdust. It’s cleaned out every time a new sheep enters the single pens. Keeps it all clean!

I really couldn't get on with Kramers, the joystick being the main thing compared to a jcb which I love and use too. The hydraulic power wasn't there so constantly reving it when booming in and out or up and down so had to have the foot on the brake as your thumb does the boom, and forwards and backwards so can't just knock it into neutral like a jcb so kind of defeated the point of it being hydrostatic in my eyes.
I know what you mean, you get used to what you drive. This does have a neutral on the joystick if you wanted it. Our manitou hydraulics are currently very slow, need to see about sorting that! I’m sure if I jumped in a jcb I wouldn’t like it to start with, as I’ve been a manitou man for so long
