Dr. Chow has been my primary care physician for several years and is absolutely amazing. Best doctor ever, intelligent and caring.

For me, I think the time compression of appointments outweighs anything else.
The interaction is inherently superficial. It has to be based on quick and dirty heuristics because there isn't time for a doctor to get to know a patient, understand what they're experiencing, know when the cookie cutter approach is or isn't likely to work, etc. There isn't time for a meaningful doctor / patient relationship.

If it's about developing that relationship, and there isn't time to do so, what's the point? What are we accomplishing?

Look up “Direct Primary Care” it’s a new model of care where you spend 1 hour appointments with your PCP. They don’t bill any insurance, you just pay a small monthly subscription fee

You’re going call her rude based off one interaction? That’s all the basis you need to insult someone’s character??
