If this was a wacky good time for you, your should try the ME264. Its sectors of fire admittedly aren’t great, but for 5.0 it’s pretty quick. It’s also absurdly maneuverable and the wings basically don’t rip.
I remember using the Russian Ar-2 in ground realistic and getting locked into a dogfight against some fighter, I proceeded to somehow survive against him until the match ended (Game was already mostly over) was very fun, would've had him if I had frontal guns.
Try it with the Ki-67s now, way more gunner coverage and you can normally confidently attack someone. You're mission if you choose to except it is beat my record of 7 Kills 1 Assist
The strikemaster suffers from the weee little thing called peashooter syndrome so it can't really go up in BR, it's also not that quick as far as jets go.
Man that AI gunner range is just criminal... what is the point of having them be AI controlled if they only engage at a point after the enemy has already shot you and is flying away?

Some rockets have distance fuses but others(like those rp-3's) are limited to impact fuses.
Btw, RB gunners are limited to 0.3km as their max range.
