I would love to know if this printer can print to PET or Nylon floor mats? Like logo mats. And how well would it hold up to foot traffic, laundering and vacuuming? Any insight?

I am guessing the ink has issues with sticking to the powder coat (paint). You should try plain metals, but degrease them first.
