Super video. Rewatched yesterday as visited for the first time today with my 6 year old. Really good to be able to point out things to him on the way round and was useful to know what to expect when we got there. We loved the marshals (who were amazingly encouraging) and the playground too!!
What a beautiful park and setting. Enjoyed the video again. Interesting running a course in reverse, especially when hills are involved - we did this a lot during training around the Jersey Parkrun course (highly recommended Parkrun). Wasn't aware of the p-index until reading it here, so will be great to add that to the Parkrun Alphabet challenge.
What have you got left on the alphabet? I just have Q! Next year's parkrun goals definitely include completing the alphabet, increasing my p-index, and I fancy working on the full ponty too! I'd LOVE to do Jersey parkrun. There's so many I want to do, I can't wait until we can feel confident booking travel again! 🤞
@@NicolaRuns only 8 ticked off (A, B, D, G, J, N, S, T) so plenty left to do. I'll have to look up 'full ponty'. Jersey is such a friendly Parkrun, brilliant in the Summer. Most of my Parkruns have been there (58/107) and it's where I ran my current PB.
Would love to do Bradford parkrun at some point.. lived away from Bradford for years, feel really homesick and nostalgic for the place..so easy to get to other nice places from there too 😊

Love the mix of Victoriana and natural planting. Educational as it is you might want to consider pixellating the orange surround at the top of the helter skelter to avoid a run-in with the TH-cam police bot. 🤣
Thanks... This was actually the day before the marathon but that video was easier to edit so I did it first 🤣😜🤫 although as I run 5k a day then I did run 5k the day after the marathon and it was about 20 mins faster than this because Poppy wasn't with me! 🤣

Remembered to look at my gloves... They're Sub4 ones. Would deffo recommend them because the mitten bit is super cool and by cool I mean toasty warm! 🙃

I think it was a trap to try to eat us!!! Or... It was a very woke t-rex and jumped on the vegan bandwagon 🤔 it did have a flower in it's hair which we thought would be unusual for a meat eating t-rex 😜🤣
Brilliant ! if Mercedes Benz advertised their next car to hit the markets by driving along The Carretera de la muerte - the road to death in the dark with some headlights that they were paid to promote, they would be condemned globally, and rightly so, it would be seen as greed at any cost, why are you defending someone paid by amazon ( who don't really need help ) who is taking money for staging life threatening situations just to peddle a torch ? you have every right to make your living as an influencer or an expert reviewer, indeed i always buy from independent people rather than some faceless corporation, but do you not see that your fellas adverts are really dangerous, he could never use his last three adverts on main stream outlets, it's like he is doing the dirty work for that long list of manufacturers and suppliers that pay him, how would you feel if you read in tomorrows rags, how a young kid maybe even from another country was found in the dead of night injured or worse below striding edge still clutching his torch that bushman peddled, or even how the brave humans of mountain rescue or their families must cope with their sacrifices, their fears and the things they can never unsee ? money and or fame above all else is the pursuit of the greedy.
Erm... So this is a video about Bradford parkrun. Which is awesome btw. Gorgeous place and gorgeous team, I highly recommend a visit! ☺️ Al eats meat, I'm a vegetarian... The beauty of life is that we're all different but we can't control other people's life choices. I love how adventurous Al is, he's been doing adventures like this since long before I met him. I love his videos that show him getting out there embracing life and it means I can experience these things without going out there! 🤣 That being said, we ran striding edge last December with some snow about and it wasn't too difficult so it's definitely one I'd be confident doing at night... we all have different comfort zones 🤷🏻♀️ not once does Al say "you should come and do X" he's simply saying to get out there and live life to the full within your own comfort zone. Al is offered loads of gear and only accepts stuff he's legitimately interested in getting out there and testing. If it's crap he'll tell you and if he thinks it's good he'll tell you but he's not paid by the companies 🤷🏻♀️ his videos aren't really about gear reviews, he'll do the odd one just because he finds it interesting to test kit but it's not a review channel.
