- Transcription for Bass player of this iconic and marvelous Disco song, played as recorded by Abba in 1979. I really love the constant use of octaves in this style, something that make it so danceable and so groovy. At the same time, i think the biggest challenge to play this song is to pursue to make those octaves fell all the same, to be precise with dynamics without loosing the flow. You know what i mean ;-)

The thing I notice is that how calm and effortless it was played.
This is played without feel, it's not good man, the original is with way more soul and feel, this is robotic nothing else. And in the original there are several notes being slapped

@@kento6201 it's abba's creation, he is just playing it xD only thing I'm saying is, relax and feel the pure bliss of playing an instrument. He did it super well and flawless but it wasn't exciting for some of the audience, because no feel. And yes i am experienced in this

Them not adding bass to the original song was criminal. You did an amazing job!
Slap eBass in the chorus parts, synth bass in the verses, if I am not mistaken.
It definitely had bass in the original...it's actually a nasty bass song my buddy who's a session bassist plays it not for note
I really really appreciate the way you took time out to mix this. The way that is mostly the rhythm section but has enough of the vox know which section you're in is super helpful.

I thought the same, but it's a great practice to play octaves. try it out. ;)
Bro start slow, you can ignore the off beats to start, and just along the root notes, when you get comfortable ish with that, then add more

Flawless!. Anyone could tell me what it means de mini 12 before 14 in the first string. Thanks.
The mini 12 and 14 is a hammer on so u play the 12 then almost hit your finger on the 14 without plucking the string
