Further to an earlier comment re likes or dislikes....after watching a few vlogs and deciding you do not like Eric’s presentations; stop watching and giving negative comments! Eric takes good care of Jax, provides interesting points of interest about his travels, and has a very positive attitude. The vast majority into his vlogs! He is getting better each year and he captures the “quirky” sections of each community he visits! Keep up the good work Eric....the extra time you spend editing is appreciated.
Amen Brother, I could not agree more...
Trevor Crowley: The channel is so good even the trolls cant stop watching lol.
Thanks for saying that...
It's funny that you have to tell viewers to calm down when you make a change to your travels. I don't care where you go, as long as you record stuff. I love your real life emotions and situations, along with seeing stuff I may want to visit some day. Keep being true to yourself.
Thanks for the tour. Those sculptured statues that stretched the block...beautiful and amazing details.
What a harsh life back then...
Actually some of my favorite videos are when you're doing projects or visiting. Maybe we'll get a glimpse.
By all means, everybody needs a life!
I would hope you'd socialize and have fun. 🙂
You and Jax have a great time! Be safe... ☺
Love your enthusiasm!! Yeah, I've driven by that Union Pacific attraction dozens and dozens of times and never stopped. Omaha in early June with the College World Series is heavenly!!
What a great video! Jax footage, bike footage, trains, parks and man that pizza looked great! Nebraska is definitely worth visiting...
Love the way Jax responds to "hungry", my cat's magic word is "supper". Love your videos keep 'me coming!
Steam engines are something else, in September of 2016 we saw the 844 come rolling into the Kirkwood Mo. station. There is nothing like the sound of a steam engine whistle. They laid over for about a half hour. Loved the metal sculptures.
I don't know what prompted you to but THANK YOU SO MUCH for turning CC on. Love your channel and re-subbed now that I can read what you are saying.
Thanks Eric, Old Deaf Steve.
Awsome thanks for stopping by Omaha and you did find one of the pest pizza shops we have glad you enjoyed!
Enjoyed this presentation, thanks.
Do your own thing Eric have fun keep safe !!
One of the surviving Big Boy locomotives is being restored by Union Pacific. It's supposed to participate in the 150th Anniversary Golden Spike Re-Enactment next year in Utah.
misterjag something like 8 out of the original 25 left? I remember the one in Holiday park in Cheyenne when i lived there. Now they are restoring the one you mentioned at the UP shop in Cheyenne.
Eric, I just got my first car, I'm in my mid 20s and haven't had many real experiences. Thanks to you and your content, your art, I too want to travel. Despite the fact that I hold a full time job, I'm determined to make this year of adventure positive experiences. I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you are to me. To be able to see these amazing places, knowing what to expect to have an idea of what I can see, like Zion. Next year I'm planning on going to Utah to see that very park. I just got back from a short trip to the north shore (I live in Minnesota) and I can see why you love to do what you do. Keep on goin Eric and Jax-man, and don't ever, ever stop.
Omaha! That's where I ran my first marathon. Nice people...those sculptures are amazing.
I found Jax`s tail quite interesting at the beginning. It goes straight up and has a hook on top! Ok, maybe I`m crazy too...…….
Chef Boyardee actually changed the spelling of his name so people would pronounce it correctly when he started the company.
Your a traveling man, I'll follow you where ever you go !!!
Chef Boyardee is a staple in the back of our old pickup, currently travelling across canada. We know what its like to have trolls too, keep up the great work Eric, been watching your videos for years. Huge love from the pair of us!
Love that big steam engine! My father loves trains and he knows all about that one! I literally have been binge watching your videos beginning with your very first one and I must give you serious kudos for how educational they really are. As one who hopes to become a nomadic jewelry designer and artist someday, I most enjoy the quirky and historical things you find. I have a feeling when I finally get my rolling home I may find myself going back to your videos and reviewing the cool things you found. Also to enjoy seeing Jax! He is one incredible kitty! God bless you and safe travels!
Hey it's noise that if we were there we would hear also. It is real life. You Rock!!!!!
You should put a note in your wallet that identifies your rv location and the fact that jax is in it just in case you get in an accident...i know its something i worry about when i travel with pets.
Your videos bring me joy. I cant explain except that they seem to be fun but calming..Intetesting places but not stressful..
I enjoyed this video, glad you found a better location for your camerawhile riding
I grew up going to Omaha, so quite frankly I get bored with it. I’ve driven by those places you shared. But your video has me wanting to go & walk through them now.
Eric your videos are great.. i watch a lot of RV, van, travel videos and yours are by far the best...i seriously sit here speechless because there is so much to say but yet i cant explain it, except to say they are the best.or at least that is my opinion, as of lately anyways...
nancy macintyre I agree. Fell the same way.
Love Jax and your connection with him.
I noticed around the 14:00 min mark when you were walking around the RV chatting about heat / RV that you leave your chain for the bike and ramp unlocked. Do you not worry about them getting stolen when you are out and about on the bike?
Been through there but never stopped. I loved all the statues but I loved the water falls and fountains best. Thanks for taking me on the trip with you!
I'm so glad you found the Spirit of Nebraska statues downtown!!! They are truly an amazing work of art and, if you take the time, you sense the adventure and hardship of those days! I lived in Omaha for 1 1/2 years and it really is a beautiful city! You did a great job!
Class B's are Great to have in the Big city, those are the Best RV's for Maneuvering around but yet being Comfortable all at the Same time!
Thanks for your visit to Nebraska. We enjoyed having you here. Be sure to come back when you can stay longer and see more of this great state. The fall is a great time as our trees change colors into their beautiful colors. That was a red bud tree at the Railroad park.
Adding Omaha to my must see list! Thanks Eric & Jax! I’m up for whatever adventure you have have for us. Just excited to see what’s next! Great work!🤘🏼👍🏼🍕
As Charley D. once said - "When I hit the road I was really wheelin
Had gravel flyin and rubber squeelin - And I didn't slow down till I was almost to Arkansas. I think I'm gonna reroute my trip, I wonder if anybody'd think I'd flipped, If I went to L.A., via Omaha"
I'm just south of Santa Fe NM, 88 degrees today. Boondocking, so had to stick my cat in the shower for a good wet-down. He was cool after that, but won't talk to me.
Very interesting. You do an excellent job. Love jax. 🤠
Welcome to my town. You picked a great place to stumble into for pizza. One of our best shops. We don't have any pro teams here but we treat our Cornhuskers like pros. We also have that big College World Series thing here every year.
Thx for showing me around!
Omaha looks like a very beautiful place. very interesting. thanks for sharing your journey
Hey Eric, it looks like you've lost some weight and are doing good on the road. Glad to see that you enjoyed Omaha, and saw the cool statues. I've wanted to see those myself. Thanks for taking us along.
Hey Eric, another great video, really enjoyed it.
I did notice when you take the bike off the rack you have similar problem I had
with the front tyre skidding as it rolls down the ramp. I can be a lot worse when the ramp is wet....Ask me about it.:(
I fitted some sticky back gripper tape (The type of thing fitted to skateboards) on the rack.
This stopped the tyre skid, and helped control the bike as it rolls down.
Keep up the good work bro. :)
CVD
Loving the railroad stuff! I built the “Big Boy” model kit a few times.
More TW riding in the vlogs please! Its really relaxing! Thanks Nomadic.
I'm converting my bus into an RV. been following you for a year now. I'm interested in a few things you purchased. I'll get back to you on that when the time comes where i need them. thanks for sharing.
Baseball statue...... The college baseball World Series is held in Omaha.
Great job thank you for the great video
Another great video thank you safe trips.💙😼
You are in my home city/state after X years of doing your thing. It wasn't too painful to watch you 'discover' Omaha and the surrounding area. Stick and move man, stick and move...
Great video Eric. Thank you and pet Jaxs for us.
that is so my favorite kinda of pizza, you really haven't had pizza till you've had bacon and pepperoni on pizza...
I appreciate you spending time in Nebraska...I did not think you would ever get here!
I've only driven thru Omaha on 80. Good to see it's beauty and wow, that pizza looked scrumptious.
Pizza looked ok but the crispy thin crust is my favorite
Thanks for the tour of Omaha.....Safe travels!!
Why not visit Desoto Bend wildlife refuge for the Steam ship Bertrand display? It's off route 30 between Blair NE and Missouri Valley IA this was part of the original route of the Lincoln highway.
Just a good morning Eric and Jax,, have a great day,, thanks for the videos.... garygary
I could not imagine being so uptight that I get upset by a TH-camr doing... _anything_ . You do you, Eric.
Wow! Have always skirted around Omaha, never knew they had all this interesting stuff, same with your other points of interest around Nebraska. We always just went to visit relatives. Thank you for the exploratory videos!
#92 I'm right behind you, Eric. KOA at Laramie, Wyoming! Your Motorcycle has some useful purposes on videoing the sites.
Thanks Eric, Jim
Union Pacific is actually in the process of restoring UP4014, 1st generation 4-8-8-4 Big Boy locomotive to operation in the Cheyenne shops.
You mentioned your AC wasn't cooling as much as before.....have you taken the cover off and done a complete washing of the condenser coils and fins? That can make a big difference, especially if you have never done before.
I love your devotion to your Jax!
I burn bad also Eric. It's so bad I burn threw a t-shirt and have to wear long sleeve shirts and a light jacket so I don't get 2nd degree burns or wait until evening to go out
Those sculptures were awesome .
Amazing statues.
That TW is the perfect around town bike.
Have Fun
Please try and do more nature , longtime fan 🙋🏻♂️
Nate nate I
For fun, if you have not already done so, watch Hell on Wheels. Love it.
The Big Boy is sort of a Mecca for steam engine enthusiasts. Thanks!
Omaha is a wonderful city. Thanks for showing us more of it.
Great video. Best entertainment on TH-cam.
Eric do yourself and Jax a favour - Keep in your wallet a business card size note stating that you have an RV with a cat and the RV registration. Should you get hit on the bike, the appropriate services could then be contacted to look after Jax.
good idea. If Eric died or got in a coma Jax might overheat in the RV.
I can’t wait to get to the Colorado mountains with our class C motor home. We have always had a 5th wheel or bumper pull. First year in a motor home. Been watching your videos and think we’re ready. We live by the gulf coast and it’s hot and humid.
Wow. I loved the massive statues of the covered wagons and people and their beasts. Holy smokes. You're making me what to visit Nebraska, and I have no reason to go there. Anyway, love your videos. Ain't nothing new. Enjoy your break from the Lincoln Highway.
Eric, It''s about time you started writing a book about Rv lifestyle 📖👌!
Nice comment on a tram in that park, I'm sure the older tourists will enjoy it.
We normally just drive through Nebraska. I think we just need to stop on our next trip. This has been a nice trip through NE.
Later on in my travels if i buy a bike, i think i will buy the hydraulic bike lift for my RV. That way i can pull my jeep and have a bike. I am getting to old to push a big bike up them ramps..lol :) Having a bike is a great idea. :)
* Laughed every time Jax "answered" U
* Lovin' the wacky, unique, quirky
* Enjoy your friends
Love, love ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️your videos.
Glad you liked my hometown of Omaha. Next time you come through be sure to check out Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and also try a Runza. The longest surviving brick-paved section of the Lincoln highway is in Omaha too. Also, we used to have an NBA team back in the 1970's (we shared the Kings with Kansas City).
This is a weird question but when do you think you will get a newer rv?
Haha. It took me 2 1/2 years and over $23,000 in repairs to get this RV running good... I don't care for a "newer" RV and playing catchup again with mechanical issues. :) Feeling just fine with old Yoda these days. (Although I was planning and saving for a new RV - I spend every dime of my savings on keeping Yoda on the road)
Newer isnt always better. I like Yoda.
Try eating a Runza, only in Nebraska.
i've been saying that for the last 4 videos now I think. God I miss Runzas!!!!! Can't wait to get out of SC and back home to Nebraska. Like the song says, "There is no place like Nebraska.....!!!"
There is one in Mission Ks.
Runza is a wonderful place eat. Another Nebraska place to check out that people love is Valentino's Pizza.
Hey Eric you go where you want I will watch anyway . Your very entertaining and informative and I enjoy your videos keep up the good work & safe travels
In Avoca Iowa, there is a terrific Museum called Farmall land
Beautiful Statues! Thanks for Sharing.
That monument was incredible Eric, beautiful work. Another fun video, thumbs up...
You are in LA Vista, Nebraska which is in Sarpy County. Watch the speed limit because law enforcement are out this summer. Have a fun time in Omaha,my hometown where I live.
I know Wyoming was not very inviting... But did you know that you actually passed within about five miles of a Big Boy Union Pacific steam locomotive when you where in Cheyenne. Also you missed the roundhouse that cared for them. I think that I saw on you tube that they are restoring a Big Boy. Great video keep up the GREAT work.
There is a 2 mile stretch of the old Lincoln Hiway just north of Cabella's. Right now it's closed to drive on but it can be walked upon. Too bad you missed it Eric.
Omaha does have the College World Series for baseball. Have you considered painting the hood with bedliner spray to reduce chipping and glare? Would that work?
I would like to know the story on the "travelers" display, so impressive.
Wonder if those pink trees are Smoke Trees.
I like NB in the warm months, probably not in the wintertime.
Very nice video, beautiful clean place. Jax knows 'Eat' I take it- grin
Thank you for sharing
Thanks Eric
You were within about 1 mile of where I was born and raised when you were at Kenefick park in Omaha. The Union Pacific is a huge deal in Omaha isn’t? I really feel Omaha normally gets a bad rap. Thank you for being so positive about it. Betsy
Great music
You should get a light white long sleeve shirt to cover up those arms in the sun. I have a button up one that I use in the summer time. It makes a world of a difference.
The bronze sculpture is amazing. There is another one with the theme of a cattle drive in Waco, Texas that is well worth the time next time you are in Texas. Rosie and I also stopped along the way in Austin to see River Walk. Drive safe, give Jax a hug 🤗 for us. Rosie and Mike, Shelton, WA.
good stuff man.
Great video! Enjoyed seeing Omaha with you!
Run out of gas, done that before. Like the railroad history. Pizza looked great! Who hasn't ate Chef Boyardee? Love that monument of Pioneers. Interesting about how you guys stay cool.
Great video. Loved the Locomotives. That park was also very interesting.
Love the park and the water features! #NF
