Indoor flying is underrated, its soo fun
Love it when Cody's involved and you guys just dick around and actually have fun.....it's one of the best things about the hobby. Couple people just having fun with foaming 3d planes and a mini draco

I've indoor flown twice with micro helis, UMX stuff, (some a bit fast for indoors), absolute blast, and who doesn't like a dry temperate, windless pleasure flight?
You should try flying the arrows Bigfoot without the gear, its a whole different plane
I stripped all the shit off mine and chucked a park480 in, dropped a good 150g but yet to re maiden her. I have high expectations.

Hey guys, got a great probably impossible idea- rc plane (flat foamie maybe?) with no flaps except the entire wings are just ailerons. Same as some elevators on some planes.

heres a rlly rlly rlly good idea i used about 3 sec to come up with if ur interested: buy an rc plane and mount a motor, some wings, and a tail on the box the plane comes in and fly the box with the plane still in it. i have no idea what you achive but this but its something you could spend ur valuable time on.

Indoor flying is a lot of fun. I'm not yet skilled enough to fly a 32" 3D plane indoors. The UMX Radian is about my speed.
The balloon thing may lend itself to the indoor "dogfighting" like the ribbon thing does for outdoor planes. Might be fun to duel like that.
I've flown 2 of Cody's planes before, but they are outdoor, balsa types. I haven't tried one of his flat plate indoor foams yet.
I don't have the skill to do it but flying inside looks like so much fun.
You'd be surprised! Snag something that's light/small and flies slow and you'll be set.

Just a suggestion here, but indoors is the perfect place to fly rc blimps, inflatable airliners, and ultralight super tiny aircraft.
Another fun idea is using nerf darts to shoot down RC planes/helis. Perhaps the goal could be to survive for 2 minutes without crashing down or something.

Is the UMX Draco good? I was unimpressed with the big one
We were unimpressed with it as well. Sure, it can takeoff quick thanks to excess thrust and land short thanks to reverse thrust but it really didn't fit the mold of a true STOL plane for us. Stay tuned for our thoughts on the UMX. Review is in progress.

Some of today's models have so low wing loading they can be flown in a regular living room - I just put a lid on my fish tank and take off, even if my wife is there. I'm confident no one will ever file for a divorce on those grounds, so what could go wrong?

I fly exclusively indoors, but that's with a heli, and it's even a toy heli it's a real one 🤔
today was my first time at a ama field im new to this hobby and finished my ft viggen i made a 80 mm edf and i was being ridiculed at the site on how it wasnt safe"" and they said shit about my cheap battery i have. And when i told them i spent less than 100 dollars to start in this hobby and was happy with it they got mad this pisses me off. im 14 btw

@TailHeavyProductions I just crashed my baby draco I swore it was just me flying too slow, I had a huge stall.. I thought was all me because I'm a beginner flyer but I (thought) i felt my ailerons locked too.. just figured I'd add tooo your experience
