I think it helps reduce the oils. I think they do significantly better than other makeup boxes. This box has high end names and products we actually see in Ulta and Sophia. This is definitely better than last X for sure. I liked your box. The bag should come with X and not be a choice.

My X was amazing. I didn't even care for my choices but the entire box was great! I did get the bag as 1 of my products and it's really nice! I got the tatcha primer and a charlolette Tillbury full size lip liner, a moisturizer that is amazing (the same as you, and I think you will love it! I tried it this morning and its not overly moisturizing at all.) and the herbivore hemp face oil (I'd of loved the GR product or the, the blue oil also) and more! I hated the last one loved the first one and love this one, Halsey did a great job!
You are the first TH-camr I have seen that got Tatsha primer. I also got it. What I chose was the bag, perfume and the beauty blender. I got a five piece brush set worth $154 that I didn’t chose.
I also really like that liquid highlighter it is really pretty and for someone who wants more natural its easy to get a small amount, if you want to be seen in space that works too. I did want the powder highlighter but I am happy with the liquid one.
I subscribed to the X after, so IPSY chose all my products and I like what they chose for me except 1 product. I haven't gotten my box yet but I am supposed to get the Tatcha primer too. So I am super excited about that.
I am thrilled to death with my X this month. I got the Glow Recipe mask, CT lip liner, Laneige lip mask, eyeshadow palette, Herbivore moisture oil, liquid highlighter, Fenty mascara, and makeup bag. The only thing I wasn't super happy with was the palette, it didn't swatch the best, but I haven't tried it on my eyes yet. That liquid highlighter is really stunning. You can either sheer it out for a nice light glow or make it where you can be seen from space. I've been happy with all my X bags. I do think it makes sense for us to have more choices for the X. We get 3 for the plus so you'd think we would get more for the X.

So that highlighter! I don't normally like cream products on my face either especially highlighters. I tried it and it's now my favorite! It is so freaking pretty and it looks so good on my skin! You might want to try it

Yes. I cancelled before this GBX because all I really wanted was the Tatcha primer. I wasn't excited about the one I received last time either and this time for 1 product I wanted that I almost certainly would not have gotten was not going to spend $60. Hope you enjoy it. Please let us know if it's goid. I might be willing to purchase at Sephora or Ulta if it is.

Loved my box, the perfume by Define Me smells so good especially if you like coconut and sandalwood. The bottle is beautiful it has real crystals in it. I will definitely buy it when I run out.

The first two were ok for me but had things I wouldn't use. I was considering stopping but am going to keep for now. I agree it's pricey and I think we should get to choose most things in the X.
One of my choices was a wander beauty eye liner and it is not listed there either. It seems like everyone got one of the highlighters and one of the face oils. I also got the emerald oil and I don’t love it but I was happy with everything else. As far as the fenty, everyone got that mascara. I also got the tatcha and it was the 1 item i really wanted.

I had the opposite experience. My first 2 glam bag x's were awful. This was the first one I felt was a good fit for me. I got the palette, the emerald glow oil, the watermelon glow pore tight facial, the fenty beauty mascara, about face liquid highlighter in shaken or stirred (it is beautiful and I'm not a huge highlighter person), the defineme perfume (smells so good!), the charlotte tilbury liner and a wander beauty eyeliner. If I'm honest - the palette is way out of my comfort zone (i'm more of a neutrals person), but it is beautiful. I wasn't sure about the highlighter at first, but I do find it very pretty! Yes, I had options that were not listed in the "newspaper."

I recently retook all the quizes for boxycharm and ipsy. I also changed my birthday on them to 21. I got more makeup last month. Im hoping it'll make me more excited for the boxes if not I'm about ready to cancel them.
I share your feelings on the box! I always see these great spoilers for the box and I get none of the products. I would’ve liked to receive the tatcha primer or glow recipe mask, and didn’t get either. Plus they’re repeating products in the choice selections as well
The watermelon lip pop was a choice for Ipsy plus because that’s what I got this month. I did get the lip sleeping mask but I didn’t get to choose flavor. I never saw the nails as a choice.
Hi Katrina!! I ws so bummed with my Glam Bag Xs I canceled after my last one. I still get the GBP tho. I seen other sub videos, and they showed the palette didn't swatch real good. I agree they need to let there b more choices for the X, and a BAG. For that much money a bag DEFINITELY should be included and not be a CHOICE. It's so wierd u got an item that wsnt on the the lineup, bcuz I got an item in my Boxycharm Base box that wsnt either?!!! Im still blown away by it. I agree they either need to follow our profiles better especially more so now since they are upping the prices of their subscriptions. I haven’t had mailing issues with my bags but I definitely feel they don’t match my profile 100% so I feel for more money they better step it up in general! Lol sorry for the rant.

I got both the herbivore oil and the glow recipe pore tightening mask. I was confused why I got the mask because I have dry skin and the only reason I'm considering keeping it is because its glow recipe and I can just use it on my nose
I ABSOLUTELY AGREE with you. I have SUPER oily skin and got the Tatcha primer. I tried it for 3 days and every dang day, within 3 hours, I was literally greasy!!!! I wished they would have offered the Silk Canvas Liquid as that is geared for oily skin. But I wanted that Glow Recipe pore mask too. If I am paying $55...I should be able to choose my WHOLE box. Or...how about Ipsy sticks with MAKE-UP ARTISTS vs celebrities?!? Patrick Ta's box was by far the best. HATED Kourtney Kardashian's box and this one was okay. I got the Dr. Brandt eye cream, the Dr. Brandt face cream, the CT lip liner, the highlight (really pretty gold), and the cleansing oil. The one huge disappointment was the one thing I was excited to get - the Tacha primer. 🤦🏻♀️
I am happy with my box, The 3 items I was excited to get was the glow recipe mask, the Tatcha primer and the Dr. Brandt no age moisturizer. I was happy with all my choices, I almost got the treats lash treatment, but I chose the Tarte shadow liner instead, there was not a whole lot in the last 2 choices that I wanted. But $423 retail value is excellent for the price. I was going to buy the Tatcha anyway, so I feel like everything else was a bonus and I am really excited to try the mask. Sadly my box has been in transit for 11 days and isnt here yet so I am hoping it actually arrives lol
I also chose an item that wasn't shown. I choose a Wander Beauty eyeliner. I got that Emerald Oil too and would have preferred the Glow Recipe mask. Overall though I was pretty happy with my box. Granted this was my first X bag and that may be why.
I got almost the exact same ipsy chosen products as you, the difference was I got the pallette while you got the primer. I really wanted the primer. My choice items left me pretty meh, but I honestly didn't care for most of the choice items, think I would have preferredsome of the plus or glam bag items instead. I got the blush, the bread oil, and the tarte liner. The only one I was close to being excited about was the tarte. I gave the blush to the teenager. I guess I'll use the oil on my legs after shaving, but I'm not a huge fan of hair oil as my hair is already oily.
Problem with what you just said about being able to customize the whole thing or being able to customize more is that they don't have enough in stock. I had a replacement box sent to me and they didn't have enough items to put in the box
I got my X today. LOVE IT ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ That oil is for oily skin. I got the other face oil for dry skin. I got the powder highlighter and wanted the one you got. TRADE??!
I'm giving X a year to get their act together and then I'm out. I have been underwhelmed with all 3 of them, but this one was the worst yet for me. On the other hand, my daughter's friends have figured out that I'm the best person to hit up if they are running out of moisturizer, black eyeliner, or highlighter, or just want to try something different for fun. I have become the makeup/skincare dealer. 😳
They only list the X only products in the magazine. The choices that are in X and Plus are never listed. Fabfitfun is only fully customizable if you pay for a year up front which I think if Ipsy made people pay by the year they would get a lot of push back.
The Pore facial would possibly dry out your skin and make you produce even more oil. The Herbivore oil isn't greasy and actually really hydrates my oily skin very well. I know that my oily skin actually balanced out after using the Herbivore oil. It sucks that you didn't like your box
I agree with you about the profile. I just pay for the 12$ bag, so im rarely disapointed, but for 55$, the products have to be more accurate. The glow recipe Clay mask would have been amazing for you, thats a bummer 🤦 TKS for the video anyway ☺️ have a great week ❣️

Whether you get to pick everything in this box or not it's way better than the new beauty live box that cost three times as much. New beauty has added items that has a class action lawsuit against the product they include. At least Ipsy has reputable brands they work with

I didn’t get it this time…I saw the spoilers from the beginning and first of all I don’t like Halsey’s make up products. I didn’t like the highlighters and I didn’t like the palette. I just chose not to pay for it and just kept my glam bag plus. I really liked like choices this time around. So 🤷🏻♀️. Boxycharm has the same problem. I have hated every single one of my boxes. I upgraded this past base box for the luxe thinking that it was a Rare beauty take over. But it was just the first choice. So I just cancelled it and got the base box. That was a shame. I can buy the rare beauty items they offered anytime if I wanted to, you know? I think I’m just keeping the Ipsy and Boxycharm for their shops and pop up stores. That’s it
I was so jealous of the first X box. I got the may one and was so disappointed. Nothing to choose, I actually got the bag (which I agree, should not be an option!) Bc that's how much I don't like anything! So I didn't get. I canceled ipsy all together. The tatcha is so worth it though!
I did get the Watermelon Glow Recipe Mask but I didn’t get that the Tatcha Primer! Ipsy chose all my items perfectly I have to say! I got the Athr Eyeshadow Palette, The Glow Recipe Facial, the About Face Light lock powder in smother in the Powder, the Fenty Mascara (which I already own) from an Ipsy GBP :(, then I picked , lastly they picked the Herbivore Deep Moisture Glow Oil then my 3 picks were Tarte Clay Pot Rose Gold Liner & Shadow, Roentgen Beauty Lip Balm in Charlie (I’m so pissed I have this already from Boxycharm!” & lastly the Eyestat Universal Vit C Eye Cream. It hasn’t arrived yet? But, overall it’s a good Ipsy X. Way better than last month! But the 1st month was the best w/Patrick Ta by far! I really wanted thatTatcha Primer. Lol 😂 I didn’t get the same choices as u or I would have chosen those nails n the Glow Recipe Lip Pop! So everyone got different choices in their groups. What I did was update my Beauty Profile about 3 months ago & it has helped out my selections so much! My suggestion less is more. 💕💕
No I don't believe everybody gets the same stuff to choose from, because I've seen a lot better stuff in other people's bags that they got to pick then what my choice items where!! And I had to buy the Tatcha primer in add-ons I was pretty bummed about that, it seems like the high ticket spoilers they have shown all 3 time's is never in my bag!!!

I was upset they gave me the highlighter in liquid instead of powder. And i ended up havin to get the tatcha in add ons. I havent seen ANYONE do any reviews on that pallette. I was supposed to get my x bag today but its still saying its in odenton, md...so idk how they expect it to get delivered n va today. It took 4 days just to get 3 1/2 hours from nj to md lol.
I thought it was a pretty good box, but not so much for you. There were much better products they could have chosen for you that would have been better suited for you. I really wanted to get the glow recipe lip balm and it was in the add-ons, but I completely missed it. I was so bummed out about it.❤❤
I sign up up for this glam plus x , by the end of august and they charged me 59 , I haven’t received info about shipping but I did of my regular bag but my understanding is you only receive one or both ? Imposible contact with costume services 😭😭😭😭😭
I think ipsy purposely chooses items your profile says you don't want or aren't right for your skin type. I have dry skin, some fine lines, and redness, and I CONSISTENTLY am offered (or ipsy chooses for me) products for acne prone and/or oily skin or other things I've said I don't want to receive and previously given 1-star ratings to. It's very frustrating. I get the plus and I skip it most months and generally only get it now if I like the bag or there is a product I want.
ATLEAST you got ALL of your products...I didn't get ALL 3 of my choices!! And My 50$$ ADD ON! I am IPSY DONE😪...Going to try BOXYCHARM for a couple months/ with LUXE? I will see..
I am so pissed about this X box. I had paused my box and then started again getting the July box. I thought I was going to get the X box for August but no. If you pause, your X Box subscription is canceled. So when August rolled around, I got charged for the regular box. Too bad for me. So I quit. I’m done with Ipsy. I’m still waiting for my last regular box. It’s a stupid rule and makes no damn sense. I don’t want anything more to do with them and I been a member from the start.

You can also use the oil for feet, elbow or other dry areas of your body to. When I get to many oils I use them for my feet and hands...lol

Its a hydrating clay mask, not drying at all. Not all clays are super drying.

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE with you. I have SUPER oily skin and got the Tatcha primer. I tried it for 3 days and every dang day, within 3 hours, I was literally greasy!!!! I wished they would have offered the Silk Canvas Liquid as that is geared for oily skin. But I wanted that Glow Recipe pore mask too. If I am paying $55...I should be able to choose my WHOLE box. Or...how about Ipsy sticks with MAKE-UP ARTISTS vs celebrities?!? Patrick Ta's box was by far the best. HATED Kourtney Kardashian's box and this one was okay. I got the Dr. Brandt eye cream, the Dr. Brandt face cream, the CT lip liner, the highlight (really pretty gold), and the cleansing oil. The one huge disappointment was the one thing I was excited to get - the Tacha primer. 🤦🏻♀️
I am happy with my box, The 3 items I was excited to get was the glow recipe mask, the Tatcha primer and the Dr. Brandt no age moisturizer. I was happy with all my choices, I almost got the treats lash treatment, but I chose the Tarte shadow liner instead, there was not a whole lot in the last 2 choices that I wanted. But $423 retail value is excellent for the price. I was going to buy the Tatcha anyway, so I feel like everything else was a bonus and I am really excited to try the mask. Sadly my box has been in transit for 11 days and isnt here yet so I am hoping it actually arrives lol
I also chose an item that wasn't shown. I choose a Wander Beauty eyeliner. I got that Emerald Oil too and would have preferred the Glow Recipe mask. Overall though I was pretty happy with my box. Granted this was my first X bag and that may be why.
That kimchi blush would look good for u I got that I won't use tho its too light of shades for me
I got almost the exact same ipsy chosen products as you, the difference was I got the pallette while you got the primer. I really wanted the primer. My choice items left me pretty meh, but I honestly didn't care for most of the choice items, think I would have preferredsome of the plus or glam bag items instead. I got the blush, the bread oil, and the tarte liner. The only one I was close to being excited about was the tarte. I gave the blush to the teenager. I guess I'll use the oil on my legs after shaving, but I'm not a huge fan of hair oil as my hair is already oily.
They are hyping Addison Rae in ipsy articles, bet she'll be the next X collaborator.
I didn't have alot of those choices either, I got a Murad sensitive skin serum that was not on there.
I think that was in the Plus bag and so was the Glow Recipe lip balm she got. It's like they ran out of some things.

Problem with what you just said about being able to customize the whole thing or being able to customize more is that they don't have enough in stock. I had a replacement box sent to me and they didn't have enough items to put in the box

I'm giving X a year to get their act together and then I'm out. I have been underwhelmed with all 3 of them, but this one was the worst yet for me. On the other hand, my daughter's friends have figured out that I'm the best person to hit up if they are running out of moisturizer, black eyeliner, or highlighter, or just want to try something different for fun. I have become the makeup/skincare dealer. 😳
They only list the X only products in the magazine. The choices that are in X and Plus are never listed. Fabfitfun is only fully customizable if you pay for a year up front which I think if Ipsy made people pay by the year they would get a lot of push back.
The Pore facial would possibly dry out your skin and make you produce even more oil. The Herbivore oil isn't greasy and actually really hydrates my oily skin very well. I know that my oily skin actually balanced out after using the Herbivore oil. It sucks that you didn't like your box
I agree with you about the profile. I just pay for the 12$ bag, so im rarely disapointed, but for 55$, the products have to be more accurate. The glow recipe Clay mask would have been amazing for you, thats a bummer 🤦 TKS for the video anyway ☺️ have a great week ❣️

Whether you get to pick everything in this box or not it's way better than the new beauty live box that cost three times as much. New beauty has added items that has a class action lawsuit against the product they include. At least Ipsy has reputable brands they work with
Man that sucks…. Yes I feel the same way. They’re not doing a good job at reviewing your profile. I didn’t get it this time…I saw the spoilers from the beginning and first of all I don’t like Halsey’s make up products. I didn’t like the highlighters and I didn’t like the palette. I just chose not to pay for it and just kept my glam bag plus. I really liked like choices this time around. So 🤷🏻♀️. Boxycharm has the same problem. I have hated every single one of my boxes. I upgraded this past base box for the luxe thinking that it was a Rare beauty take over. But it was just the first choice. So I just cancelled it and got the base box. That was a shame. I can buy the rare beauty items they offered anytime if I wanted to, you know? I think I’m just keeping the Ipsy and Boxycharm for their shops and pop up stores. That’s it
I was so jealous of the first X box. I got the may one and was so disappointed. Nothing to choose, I actually got the bag (which I agree, should not be an option!) Bc that's how much I don't like anything! So I didn't get. I canceled ipsy all together. The tatcha is so worth it though!

I did get the Watermelon Glow Recipe Mask but I didn’t get that the Tatcha Primer! Ipsy chose all my items perfectly I have to say! I got the Athr Eyeshadow Palette, The Glow Recipe Facial, the About Face Light lock powder in smother in the Powder, the Fenty Mascara (which I already own) from an Ipsy GBP :(, then I picked , lastly they picked the Herbivore Deep Moisture Glow Oil then my 3 picks were Tarte Clay Pot Rose Gold Liner & Shadow, Roentgen Beauty Lip Balm in Charlie (I’m so pissed I have this already from Boxycharm!” & lastly the Eyestat Universal Vit C Eye Cream. It hasn’t arrived yet? But, overall it’s a good Ipsy X. Way better than last month! But the 1st month was the best w/Patrick Ta by far! I really wanted thatTatcha Primer. Lol 😂 I didn’t get the same choices as u or I would have chosen those nails n the Glow Recipe Lip Pop! So everyone got different choices in their groups. What I did was update my Beauty Profile about 3 months ago & it has helped out my selections so much! My suggestion less is more. 💕💕
No I don't believe everybody gets the same stuff to choose from, because I've seen a lot better stuff in other people's bags that they got to pick then what my choice items where!! And I had to buy the Tatcha primer in add-ons I was pretty bummed about that, it seems like the high ticket spoilers they have shown all 3 time's is never in my bag!!!
I’m also oily & luckily they didn’t pick any oils for me. Some categories I loved & a couple were just meh…

Yeah mine wasn’t exciting at all. The best thing I got was the Tacha primer. The only makeup I got was the Fenty mascara and a lip pencil. 🥱

I liked my box for Glam X and the last one, too. I bought the palette at a discount on Ipsy. I think it was $15 but don't hold me to that.

The perfume is nice but very strong. 1 maybe 2 sprays and that's it.

I was upset they gave me the highlighter in liquid instead of powder. And i ended up havin to get the tatcha in add ons. I havent seen ANYONE do any reviews on that pallette. I was supposed to get my x bag today but its still saying its in odenton, md...so idk how they expect it to get delivered n va today. It took 4 days just to get 3 1/2 hours from nj to md lol.
I thought it was a pretty good box, but not so much for you. There were much better products they could have chosen for you that would have been better suited for you.
I really wanted to get the glow recipe lip balm and it was in the add-ons, but I completely missed it. I was so bummed out about it.❤❤
I sign up up for this glam plus x , by the end of august and they charged me 59 , I haven’t received info about shipping but I did of my regular bag but my understanding is you only receive one or both ? Imposible contact with costume services 😭😭😭😭😭
I think ipsy purposely chooses items your profile says you don't want or aren't right for your skin type. I have dry skin, some fine lines, and redness, and I CONSISTENTLY am offered (or ipsy chooses for me) products for acne prone and/or oily skin or other things I've said I don't want to receive and previously given 1-star ratings to. It's very frustrating. I get the plus and I skip it most months and generally only get it now if I like the bag or there is a product I want.

I am so pissed about this X box. I had paused my box and then started again getting the July box. I thought I was going to get the X box for August but no. If you pause, your X Box subscription is canceled. So when August rolled around, I got charged for the regular box. Too bad for me. So I quit. I’m done with Ipsy. I’m still waiting for my last regular box. It’s a stupid rule and makes no damn sense. I don’t want anything more to do with them and I been a member from the start.
