I run the Gibbz Ultalite G4 with a BSF barrel and Odin Works hand guards. I have 1 in a Creedmoor and 3 in AR15 the latest is the 6mm arc at 6.5 pounds with your stainless BCG. I use the AR diamond trigger. My lower is a Iconic Industries ultralite lower on all my builds.
The channel bump-out that the top-charge handle/bolt carrier key rides in is open in the back of the upper so you can get the BCG in and out. The dedicated lower seals that channel off so gas doesn't blast out of the back into the shooter's face.
As with the SCR-11 it's replacing, we see the SCI-20 as more of a competition platform, so it's more streamlined for that. The LRI-20 has more duty application in addition to competition, so is more full-featured.
@@JPRifles thank you for explaining. It seems its not needed at all . Are there not plenty of duty guns with NO forward assist? Just curious on your thoughts
The semi-monolithic on a more traditional reciever with a t charging handle and a FA assist would be awesome.

2:15 BOOOO
How does the cutout for the top charge handle affect the lower?

You guys almost got it. That Radian licensed lower would have been great on this. Especially with that bolt lock feature.
I may have missed it, but can you use a different barrel manufacturer when doing a build for this receiver????
Yes, it'll take any standard AR barrel. It'll just require the Thermo-Fit process no matter the barrel.
how come there are no online reviews of this rifle yet?
Is there an MLOK handguard for this and the LRI-20? Interested in this, but I use MLOK on everything else and not willing to switch.
Sharp looking rifle!
I just want your buffer system for SF AR10s that DO NOT require a funky extra chunk of spacer that falls out when you open the receivers !
Need one of both please!
Why a forward assist on the lri-20 and not the sci_20??
