Silly ! I bought my first Westwood in 1977 and my last in 1982, from Nostalgia of Mud, so I’ve followed her career for 46 years +. She’ll be forgotten in a generation, except for a few fashion historians. She suffered from extreme cognitive dissonance. She was part of one of the most wasteful and capitalist industries; she could have stopped years ago. I’m sure she had enough personal wealth stashed away. I won’t call her a hypocrite, I don’t think she was self aware enough.
