Great tips, I have so many clothes I need to purge 😫 I was in a horrible relationship 6 + years ago. Long story short I shopped to avoid/escape. I believe your tip will help me put some order back into my life. As weird as that sounds, I just want to get rid of those material things that brought me temporary happiness.

I loved your fashion tips. A black top and jeans did look great with each different top you tried on! Keeping it simple is best! I have too many colors/stripes! Simplifying my wardrobe would be a great project this spring!

Catching this a while after you made it, but I had to comment just 2 1/2 minutes into watching because I stopped from being motivated and had to act on it. :) I've been catching up on your older videos and searched out "closet" for inspiration, to see what you've posted. I did a major cleanout of our house, including my clothes, two years ago and kept things that I just don't wear, mostly for sentimental reasons and convincing myself that I might wear them one day. (Seriously.) I've decided to rethink them and only put into my closet what I would put on if I had to leave the house right now and go into public (plus a few things I wear around the house that no other human not in my household should lay eyes on because they're embarrassingly ragged LOL).
It's a longer story that I won't bore you with, but thank you again for having this channel. It sounds odd to say this about a YT channel, but your videos have been a blessing to me and my house in the few weeks I've been watching. You've renewed my motivation to clean and declutter, and it's also been good for a new venture that I need the space for in the house. Oh, and you've introduced us to the world of the cordless vacuum. Ha! The one we got has also been very good for us! Thank you, Ashley!

Fun tips! I loved all of the jackets, they were so cute. I think I might move towards this. Right now I have mostly patterned shirts (whatever I can find at Ross usually. Plus sizes are harder to find the selection.) with basic pants for work.

Solid neutrals & accessories are my life!! Black, Navy, Grey & White! My go to outfit in the spring/summer: t-shirt & capris. Fall/Winter: jacket, t-shirt & jeans. I never realized, I already have a capsule wardrobe!! LOL

Jewelry makes any outfit! You can for sure make an outfit look so much more dressed up with a necklace and bracelets! I buy most of my jewelry from Forever21 they actually have tons of cute jewelry for super cheap! Loved this video! ♥️

Yes but it will be worth it. Figure out your colors first so you can pull out all those clothes. Then try them on. If you wouldn’t buy it today then toss it.

But you now a days you see all these girls talking about their closets or advertising their outfits on IG, and it’s like they are all size 00. It’s discouraging for someone like me. I’m 5’5” size 10, which is normal...wish I was smaller because I used to be. But I just once again appreciate your authenticity and how relatable you are. Next time I reach for a Reese cup I’m gonna think “size 4/5 would be nicer than that Reese cup!” Bahahahahahahaha

My house clothes are in the closet. I have yoga pants and I just wear any of my tops with them. I keep about 4 sets of workout clothes. They are folded up in my drawer.

You can choose any colors. Those are just the ones I gravitate towards. Pick out colors you look and feel best in!
