I can also see that makeup journal being a fun thing for the beauty obsessed bride or bridesmaid. Once an artist finished recording what they used on the bride and bridesmaids, one of them can take a photo of the page, and then everyone will have it for reference and as a souvenir.

I get so happy when Robert loves something, especially with independent brands, because he gets so happy and his face lights up and he just gets so giddy it is contagious. That palette really does look so unique and fantastic. 💜🖤💜

As someone obsessed with journals and notebooks, that journal is calling to me even though I'm only interested in makeup from afar. You had quite a bit of a glow reminiscing your experiences with us, Robert, and I really loved that.

I’m so glad you are enjoying the industrial palette. I’ve never spent so much on one item but had to have it because it’s so unique and perfect for my complexion. Would love to see you do more looks with it so I can follow your process.
I am not a make-up artist but I'm almost tempted to buy that journal just because it is so well organized 😆 . Kudos to the creators.

In addition to your incredible videos showing exactly how you're applying each eyeshadow shade, would you consider adding a STILL SHOT of your eyes after the shadow is applied but BEFORE adding lashes? I always want to see a much closer shot of the looks you create!!

I'd love to see like 3-4 eye looks with the isamaya pallet. Add in a few grungy blown out looks too? Pretty please. I been debating getting it but man it's pricy. But be more grunge , editorial use case. I know you usually don't do these type vids but I'd absolutely love to see several looks just focusing on that pallet.

I’d love to see you review a brand called flowerknows, they recently launched a strawberry collection and I think it’s probably the most beautiful packaging I’ve ever seen on makeup products! I also think the creators of the brand are known for their cosplays, so that’s cool :) I’ve been really considering getting some of their products but it’s hard to find reviews of the brand from creators I’m familiar with and trust

The makeup journal is such a great product to review. I love how you give great advice and tips for MUAs, especially when you talk about your younger self. Also, I didn't know that clients don't pay you on the day you do their makeup! I love that you pointed out the invoice section. Creative people need to be about the business side too.

Oh I love the journal idea & wish I had thought of this when I worked for MAC or freelanced. Me being a person who makes everything harder by making my own concoctions of foundations & whatnot, I could never remember what I used! This would have been so helpful for my repeat clients, or for just preplanning. Love, love, love the idea!

That reddish orange eyeshadow, 3rd on the top from the left, looks like a beautiful Autumn-y, pumpkin-y shade! The sticker shock on the price tag kills me though. I don't mind spending $115 (The US price for the palette) on something like jewelry because jewelry doesn't expire. 🖤
To be fair, eyeshadow if kept dry and taken care of the expiration date is meh. I have shadows from 5+ years ago that still work great.
