If a singer doesn't sound flawless, people complain that he doesn't sound like they do on the studio track. If a singer sounds great, people complain that they must be using audio processing.
+John Rembecki you need to listen to "Tattoos on this town" by Jason Aldean on the album and then listen to it live. There is a recording and a video of him performing that song at an awards show and it sounds like a totally different person.
I personally always thought they were just okay for a long time, but I've seen them live twice now & I must say..if you've seen them live & didn't leave as a fan, you don't have a pulse!

It's a shame Godsmack do not compose songs like Straight out of Line and I Stand Alone any more.... great songs and great times when they were actually heavier.
