As a Forest fan I think this is a fantastic analysis. Id say the main driver has definitely been sorting the defence/GK situation. Its night and day. Milenkovic is the bargain of the summer and such an upgrade on the likes of Boly. The chemistry/ying and yang he has with Murillo makes them currently one of the best CB pairings. Aina moving to the right has been such a smooth transition and Moreno is incredibly consistent. Selz is a big upgrade on arguably the worst GK pairing of the past few years with Matt Turner and the Greek gk we sold to Newcastle. I dont expect us to stay around the top 4 but a top 8 finish would be an incredible achievmenet. The owner is very willing to back the club and if our finances allow it i think he'll add to the squad in January.

I did not think Forest would go down this year, as I think Nuno started to save them when he took the job. I think the stats with cooper in charge had a great affect on the stats for the season as a whole. So I was surprised that we were one of the favourites to go down but I did not expect us to do this well.
I just wanted a couple of quiet seasons sitting comfortably in mid-table, maybe getting some great and unexpected results along the way. It seems we don't do quiet!!

They are 3rd BEST defence after RB Leipzig and Flick's FC Barcelona, even Slot's Liverpool... that Defence pair maybe are the sole reason they rockin in defence. nuno take that note after arab league..

Firstly, the size of the job and the pressures surrounding it could definitely have had an impact, secondly, I’m not sure his brand of defensive orientated football really suits Tottenham, I always feel like certain clubs have a way of playing and that’s definitely the case for Tottenham, not sure Nuno’s pragmatic football would ever have worked in the long term without trophy success, he’s a good coach that focuses his side on defensive discipline first, then attacking quality and I almost feel like Tottenham is the opposite of that in some ways, which is why Ange fits so well.
