    Newcastle fan here. Nuno is a great manager and Forest are on a roll. Our game with them tomorrow (Sun 10th Nov) at the City Ground is NOT gonna be easy and I cant predict the result!. 👍

      @@gazof-the-north1980 I agree - it's really disrespectful of mourinho and while he might win you something the football style is not what the st james park faithful would pay to watch when they have been graced with the likes of bobby robson football..hope your owners have patience and still with eddie and back him in the summer to push on even if you miss champions league this season. Realistically it will be the fourth spare in ECL between you spurs and chelsea i think...hope you can do it!!

    He didn't "wobble" at Forest. People just expect a manager ot come to a team fighting relegation and IMMEDIATELLY make them solve the problem, in the middle of the season. No pre-season, nothing. That's crazy.

      I think we will miss out you have Villa, Newcastle, spurs (on the right day), chelsea and then brighton too all of whom have more experience of the EPL than us... maybe in a couple of years though we can hope and push on. Let's hope this is a project with Edu coming in.

    Nuno's been so good for us that he's collecting Manager of the Month awards without being on the touchline 😉
    It should be pointed out that our signings of Wood and Anderson (as well as Newcastle's signing of Vlachodimos) were all to avoid FFP charges. We've definitely had the better of those deals.
    Lots of talk of the forward players in this chat (and don't get me wrong... CHO, Elanga et al have been great) but the reason we are where we are is because of how defensively resilient we are.
    Ola Aina by the way is one of the best free transfers in football history.

    A better question would have been , Is Chris Wood the 2nd most inform striker in the PL? No, he is the most inform striker in PL, and I say that because of his overall contribution to the team, his goal line clearance against West Ham was a turning point in that game. COYR

      Nearly every podcast I listened to before the season started had us relegated or only just surviving. Shows how much they knew about us and their knowledge of players. Forest fans knew we'd be comfortably safe and who knows where we can go this season now.

I'm a Forest fan and having watched us limp to 17th place, only surviving because the bottom 3 were so bad, I was worried for us going into this campaign and I know I wasn't the only one. Thankfully Nuno and the team have confounded all expectations in a similar way to when Cooper came in to take over from Hughton when we were bottom.

      @@Matthew-bu7fg At the start i would have had us at 15th but now we have to aim for 10th or higher which would be a great acheivement. It takes time and getting into the top 6 is SO hard. But then Villa have done it in a few years but we need other teams to wobble (aka doing a leicester)

    Any really good manager gets players playing above their level , nuno has more than done this with most players at forest . He’s so underrated

    The key this season for Forest is the bench players, some of them unlucky to be on the bench. They are all quality players.

    Newcastle showed the way Forest need to be heading this weekend. Howe beat Nuno at his own game. MGW/CHO and Wood didn't have their best games but was really impressed with Willock and Joelinton

    The narrative around Woods abilities is completely wrong. How many time will a pundit say that he has scored a goal that isn’t typical of one he would normally score before they accept that he is that sort of player, and is a very well rounded centre forward with the ability to finish in many different ways.

      had a points deduction as punishment and still stayed up, also if they were allowed to lose the same amount as other premiership teams they wouldnt have breached. you can lose 61m before breaching but nearly everyone else can lose 105m ...sigh
