Nice changes, would be amazing see other changes to neutral cards, it's amazing that most neutral cards never see making into decks, maybe even working in neutral archtypes like bandits would make a difference
More cards like Odrin please! Amazing to give good support to underperforming archetypes. Support shouldn't come in the form of like a 3 card combo but just having one cheap card provide some tech support is great! Would love to see that come to Harmony. Like a gold that changes Harmony's effect to triggering Harmony even if the primary category isn't unique. That kinda makes harmony rough to play.
I'm a SY main and even I think the KOB nerfs aren't enough. Still loving the game though! Draft still needs some work. Removing some of the must pick package will help some. But I still enjoyed the arena mode more over all.
yesssssssssssss i can play againstr nilfgard 4x inna row before seeing anyone else bec they can play 32+ cards per match and i have to play well below 30. talk about balance. i also love the fact that every best card they have all the abilities are on deploy so i cant do anything about them meanwhile i have to wait multiple turns to use far less effective abilities in my faction. please lock everything:-) and i cant stop anything you do. its so fun
i love this game besides nilfgard. its so cheap. you dont have to really synergize as much as other decks to really do anything. you just poison and lock everthing and if they have veil just create their best cards and use them against the opponent bec the majority of the abilities are deploy so i dont even have an opportunity to stop it
they haven't updated draft in a long time, even after it came out of early access - I really doubt we'll see any meaningful draft updates in 10.2 update.

CDPR ... in all seriousness, am I the only one who sees that he is insanly broken? Did you guys dont learn anything from the merchants of ophir meta at all?! Do you really think a card like this is fine? I mean ok I get it, you want to rework him to make him more interesting ... but this is how you do it? He is THE meta changer of this patch in a way that is not ok! A card that gives 3 different statuseffects on cooldown? This is a Joke right? How is this balanced? Let me explain: He is a 8 (!!!) provision card that, - can basicly delete skellige and sabbath reanimation cards (by giving units doomed). - can if you combo him with fangs of the empire kill a unit every 2 (!!!) turns (fangs poison, on same turn Philippe lock, next turn poison with Phillippe - repeat) and with no support kill a unit every 4 turns! (doom,lock,poison,poison) - can lock units - so if he doesnt kill them you have control anyway - he is an engine for Thirsty Dames in his deck Besides that he is difficult to counterplay because: - He has 6 strenght which limits instant removal - He is not a ranged row unit anymore so moving him is not an option So basicly, if you dont get rid of him, the round is pretty much over- gg... especially if masquerade ball comes into play. You cant really purify (which SHOULD be a valid counterplay) against this deck thanks to Philippes cooldowns and the sheer amount of status cards this deck brings into play. His threat level is equivalent to 10 provision cards! This is not ok! You can fix his problems by giving him 5 strenght or ranged row only - so you have to watch him to unfold his true potential ... or giving him X (maybe 3) charges limited 1 each turn so you have to think about using him as an engine or saving his charges for poison combos ... or giving him a cooldown of 2 this way you can at least attempt to counterplay with a caretaker. Dont get me wrong - Nilfgaard is not the only balance offender in the game but we saw time and time again that stuff like this usually happens with nilfgaardand or syndicate. Every other patch they get slightly nerfed only to get insanly buffed in the next one ... and I wouldnt complain. But Gwent, unlike MTG where you can pick and choose cards of any color you like, is a faction balanced game! If a faction wins in a patch by getting better cards it wins the meta and with it the ladder. So far it looks like the top will be nilfgaard dominated ... again. I am sorry but this is not the patch I hoped for. Cheers.
yeah so far it went under the radar on the comments and CDPR forums, but it surely looks broken. Initially it caught my attention as another Masquerade Ball support poisoning but i didnt notice the cooldown which makes ridiculous. The only downside is that vampire condition so it wont be easy to give Doomed status, but yea we're gonna see a lot of Ball and poisoning shenanigans next season definitely.
The Monsters will have to be played ugly again, Gerni etc. Where is the most important rework for outdated Wild Hunt type. Where is Frost synergy, as it have only that? Ang give Caranthir to WH! Monsters worst synergy faction. Too many archetypes, everyone on their own, are just dead for months/even years now. Any other faction have their Core. But not MO, like orphans, forgotten, and abandoned.
Devs definitely dont like Monsters, but neither Scoiatel. On any ST leader ability you basically need to use Saskia, while second best card for ST is Alzur which is a Neutral....

Nah, not every faction needs the same tools like tall punish. That's what neutral cards are for. Agree on the bonded part though, Watchers is alright but Marauder and the elf could use a point.

And ST isn't the only one like that anyways. Devo MO doesn't have tall punish either and Devo NR lacks offensive purify. That's intentional.

I completely disagree with those SY changes. Please for the love of god, just buff Passiflora and Crimes, Jackpot is simply the only deck that has enough points to be worth playing and KoB is still broken
@@phantomfire5013 but most people play ng now lmao. i hate playing against ng.NG is by far the deck i see the most followed by SC i dont even have fun if i win. it always feels like luck.i look up and they have played 30+ cards and in the 3rd rounf 4/5 of their 9 cards are from my faction and on my side of the board 4 cards are locked even after purifying 3-4 locks. nilfgard is beyong irritating
@@CitizenPeter it's an indirect nerf, in the same way that nerfing Eist hurt Blaze of Glory and nerfing Milva hurt Guerilla Tactics. These cards and leaders played so well together that hurting one hurts both. Now unlike Eist or Milva, KoB is flexible enough that it'll still see play with other leaders.

I played this game for the first time today & I was disappointed, I thought it would be like from the witcher3 which was superb.
