So pretty! I don't know if you've watched any of Amy Oxford's video tutorials on The Oxford Company Channel of TH-cam, but I've found those videos to be packed full of excellent little tips that have really helped me with Punch Needle. One tip I learned from Amy is this: If/when you decide to pull your yarn out to "re-do" a spot you can easily "revive" your distorted monks cloth, before beginning again. All you have to do is lightly scratch the tip of your punch needle back and forth, over the punched area of the cloth and the threads will return to their original positions with no more big holes/gaps. This really helps!! Here's link to Amy's first video where she covers this technique around the 2:25 min mark....but the whole video is excellent! I think you'll really enjoy all of the videos on her channel too. ~~Christy~~

Thank you so much Christy! 🙂 Yes, I have seen a few of Amy's videos and they are very helpful. I am aware of the scratching technique and although I don't do it every time (or show it often in my videos), I do it more times than not. Thanks for sharing as I hope someone who sees your comment finds this information helpful.
