It's always such a joy! Even after hearing most of the grand mal recordings and his studio releases and (MOST) heatmiser albums there was a point last year where I just played his live shows constantly in the background, and I heard him perform antonio carlos jobim for the(my) first time and I almost teared up. I can't think of a more consistent artist.
He was playing Mr. Goodmorning on the Figure 8 tour in 2000. Honestly I'd say based on how his voice sounds in this recording that it was prior to his early 2000s downfall, he always sounded a little different after that
Really? Haven’t heard “Suicide Machine” yet- I could def hear this being from around when he recorded what would later become the posthumous album, From A Basement On A Hill. The vocals give me that impression ❤
Yes, I love hearing “new” E.S. songs. (Hearing his unreleased songs for the first time) ❤

Been hoping someone might edit that intro in at some point. Love it. Thanks!
I’ve been looking through Elliott videos trying to find stuff people want to see! This one was a easy thing to put together.
This and Suicide Machine were the last things he worked on before he died, right? I think even the night before but not sure
