VF SSV Magnuson Heartbeat Supercharger Install

- C&A Auto Fashion in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs combined with Magnuson Superchargers Australia and VCM Performance to install and tune the new Heartbeat blower to their brand new 2013 VF Commodore SSV manual sedan. All dyno runs were on 98 octane pump fuel. Details on engine modifications are in the clip.
Had a 2300 heartbeat and defillipo system fitted in 2015 detuned a little but still a load of fun for a daily system fitted around 45000ks shes now got 160,000ks with no oroblems. Well done to Con and Andrew. Don't piss and moan about no price with clip, get in your car and go see them at their workshop and talk face to face as im sure they wont bite you.
The boys at C&A have another black VF SSV that they're turbocharging right now!
nope it the same one, just took of the supercharger and used the same engine but turboed lol :)

What an awesome beast.Sounds great and couldnt beat that for an everyday car with huge power. And oblvr8 where did you get $150k from . That car would be under $70k as it stands with room to make even more power.
Why change the fuel system ie: tank, unless it cant run 98 and only runs 91 or E85, which i wonder why not run E85 tank, because they cant run 98 in the tank ?
Just changing the CATS which are not Euro 4 spec is unroadworthy full stop. LOL :) If you got pulled over or need to sell the car for any reason if it went under RWC regs really done right it would not pass the emission tests that simple? Also those RWC places which do pass it ?
That is crazy! When are you gonna up the bottom end and pistons? Would love to see that

Where did you get 150,000 from? The car here is only 46k to buy, The supercharger is around 12k, cam/exhaust and rest of mods add another 10k or so. 68k is no where near 150,000.
This car isn't finished yet I am sure it will easily get 500+, He says near end that they will look at strokin' it out in future and putting in new set of pistons and rods!

Most likely yes it would. However, LS3's are a well-built and well-engineered motor and can withstand significant tuning.
@@sniderjadam its not a LS3 its a LS gen 4 really L77 6lt and not the 6.2lt on the series two redlines and other variants of the V8 models like a calais or HSV models which has the LS3, cheers :)
How much, + cost of the CAR ?

with head and cam and supercharger $20K easy but as close to around 18K done and dusted, but if a auto then you need to get a 6L90 HSV AUTO if you can and put the OE External Trans cooler as well or aftermarket one if you like and even better a interchiller if you live in really hot areas like WA or NT or especially QLD which can be turned off if required and also helps with a extra 50 HP at the rear wheels Plus what tune you want as in how much rear wheel KW you want which i think around 450RWKW is the best not too much and just enough for power wise. :) Gunsmith u tube channel look it up he got a black SSV with around 30,000 km on it and got a Magnuson supercharger on it. :) But be careful as if its a daily driver you will find due to the tune, you will either have to use the same fuel all the time 98/ 91 / 95 or E85 ok if you have E85 no matter where your going to drive, but best bet is have 98 as most servos have 98 or 95. :)
