80+ Horsepower YZ450F takes Josh Hill over 180 feet!

- After competing in the 2019 X Games Snow BikeCross competition, Josh Hill swapped his snow set-up for some traditional motocross wheels and tires to see what distances could be made by the 81 horsepower machine. We tagged along with Josh as he set out to better his personal distance on a well-known road gap, and here is what went down!

Or should we just keep the secrets from you? From the pipe he has I can already tell you that bike has at least a 500 big bore, HC piston, cams, port polish and a nice tune. At least that’s what works good with that pipe

Skills beyond belief......... I met Josh and Justin and parents at Washougal when Sports Illustrated came to do an interview on Josh, they were camped right beside us. Josh was Rockin a YZ125 at that time..........

I was making a joke towards my Scirocco. It didn't have any power and had 4 cylinders That it has as much as a car.

Thumbs up because it’s a great rip! But really drone footage woulda grabbed an amazing end to end gap shot on this one, since the terrain was so hilly and difficult to get that shot on foot most likely.

What? No info on what they did with the motor?
Can’t figure out what size air filter they used. I have the fittings to be exact with the throttle body but not an exact diameter in size for the air filter inlet. Definently a 2”-3” coupling for sure.
I also have the pipe the same way as his. Wasn’t very easy to weld the pipe coming out the head to the exhaust muffler.
It went from a 1.75” diameter to a 2.50” diameter. Needed to do custom welds and modifications to fit perfect. But it looks sick and not only does it sound good it puts out wicked power from the mid range
I got a question for anyone that knows what they are talking about when it comes to dirt bikes, i’m 16 and around 5’5 and i’m gonna be buying a new dirt bike, what would be the right size for me, a 125 2 stroke, or a 250?

Stock is around 12/1
