Yo Colby, i've been watching and following fmx, freeriding, etc since the beginning man and i can honestly say that to me, you are the most enjoyable to watch. Something about your style and your personality that makes you seem so real and natural. I'm terrible at typing what i am thinking so this probably sounds like a whole lot of nothing to you ..haha. I'm 52 now , so there is no more poppin wheelies....though I still can , my girl will give me a good punch if the word gets out. Everyone riding is good in this video , some of us were and some tagged along to get their experience. We were never as good as this crew , and if we saw guys doing this in my era , we would have thought that they were from another star system. 🤔
In 51 now and if you were ANYTHING like me and my crew I would imagine that you were as good ..you just didn't have the equipment they have today to show it. Bikes today compared to the 70's/80's are worlds apart. Suspension, tires, weight of the bikes themselves,..far different. You would have to go twice as fast on an older bike to achieve the distance they do today and would still probably be subject to broken ankles and wrists from the impact of tbe landing. I hope you at least still ride bcz its still just as big a rush as ever !!!!
Why am I watching this? It makes me miss riding Motorcross so so so much! Used to get air just like this, but in the heat of a race, my god I miss it! Money; the constant killer of enjoyment!

Matt Gomez : same. More mud and difficult trails than jumps. This California terrain is perfect for jumps.
