I ordered an Asus Tuf a few days ago. I'm still waiting for it. I've been running a H.P. single fan 3060 for about a year, I'm not a huge gamer but plan on doing more moving forward. The 4070 ti super can hit 60 FPS with ray tracing enabled in in nearly any game which is smooth enough for me. I don't know how to feel about DLLS but I'll be doing some gaming on a 4K TV with 120 Hz. So, I may have to play around with it.

Just sold my RX 7900 XT for this precize card the Asus Tuf Gaming 4070 TI Super and i am very happy. The card is way smaller and lighter, uses less power is more quite and has DLSS 3 and FG. Also g-sync and Nvidia drivers instead of the AMD crap. Recently also got a I7-14700KF that replaced the finicky 5900X and now i have a real solid build.
Wanted AMD but AMD does not want customers to be happy. So never AMD again for me. Also Blender render over 7000 points with rendering. Also superior Ray-tracing. Even if the Nvidia card would be more expensive it's still worth it, it saves a lot of trouble.

Ordered the card you’re testing from Amazon Canada at MSRP on launch day, will be delivered on Feb 15th which is a long wait!
Sold out an hour after I put in my order and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be restocked at that price anytime soon.
Card is actually replacing a 2013 6GB GTX Titan, which I bought for $1000 CDN at the time, and will be most used for AI work and experimentation.
I hope my older system can handle it for now(3930K with 64GB RAM) until I can build a new system next year.

got an open box gaming OC 4070ti for around 700 and had store credit towards the upgrade. It was able to push 3ghz and +2000 on mem clock 24k almost 25k in 3dmark so for me id say its good/enough. I dont have a 4k/multimonitor setup nor work in rendering so it definitely seems like enough for now i can do without the AMD wattage/pulls to be competitive and the temps even at 300w range on the 4070ti when OC never get even close to 68c. When in stock form it uses even less power and the fans are at an even lower RPM. Though when fully pushed the fans never went higher than 78% on its stock curve which was nice to see. Ive pushed my 3070 strix to 2.1ghz and +1500 mem to hit past 3070ti FE numbers when i got it near a half year prior to the 3070ti launch. Being able to sell my previous GPU is what helps justify upgrading and makes it IMO more cost effective for me. I sold a 2080ti and used that towards flipping multiple 5700XT's during the 3080 launch window between the 3070 and 6800xt. It led to me getting two 3070FE cards which turned into a 5900x/x570 board and a 3070strix for basically nothing to me. Now i got the 4070ti a year post launch and it will cost me around 350$ XD. IDK the strix 4070ti super is 999$ LUL and doesnt even come close to the 4080 even when pushed/OC. On the other hand the strix/master/suprim-x range 4070S will retail for around 700$....and have to push near 330-350W to hit around 4070ti numbers. I already had a feeling the 4070TI super would be more ideal for ppl that didnt want to spent a lot but wanted NV/nominal upgrade. Or the vram for vr/racing sim/multimonitor or actual professional use w.o having to spend double on a solution IMO a used 3090 would probably be better for that use case but w.e Plus the 6950xt also at times exists for around 550$ new if ppl are willing to invest purely for the raster power and can overlook the 300+W/heat that comes with it. But for me i just want something around a 3090 or better...that uses less power as well as more ideal for my 850w psu and overall system thermals. Though for SFF a smaller design/AIB 4070ti super sounds pretty ideal from a performance/wattage standpoint as well as temps.

If price/perfomance and longevity is what you seek, I dont think you'll find anything for you in this 4000 series. As far as ray tracing, it doesn't occur to you you're not seeing what you think you are seeing with AMD RT performance. The likely truth is AMD's RT performance is equal to that of Nvidia. We know this simply be looking at games like RE Village, Callisto Protocol, Avatar (you can't turn off RT here), and many other games. RT performance in the aformentioned games are just fine.
So what's really going on here? The answer is it's the game developers choosing to optimize their game's RT performance for Nvidia while ignoring optimizing RT performance for AMD gpus. Part of the reason for this is Nvidia had RT first but not in all cases. Some of it is deliberate now. Look at Avatar. You know the devs optimized for both gpu brands because RT cannot be shut down in this game. RT performance on AMD cards with this game and many others is just fine.
Cyberpunk developers are the most egregious offenders. I suspect they have a deal with Nvidia not to optimize RT for AMD gpus. For that reason, I won't buy Phanthom Liberty. I hate deceit. It's an evil world we live in. If I see a game developer not optimizing RT for AMD cards I won't buy that game now. The rest of you should do the same to send a message.
