Band Maid, hardworking as usual, have been touring this year.. this song actually prepared beforehand. For a tour reaction, can't go past what they showed new fans at Lollapalooza Chicago this year, "Dice" and "Hate" double, live available on YT - camera-work not great but an amazing performance.
You should do the entire Unseen World album, which was the last full album (preceding Unleash). It is non-stop wall of sound. Some people found it a bit too much, but it was the album that made me really fall in love with Band-Maid.
@@shizzyreacts haha, that album is awesome. What are the holes in your Band-Maid experience? Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It from their self composed days? Brand New Maid, New Beginning from their 3rd party composed days? Each album bring their own flair, which is different from the others. Conqueror is probably the most experimental, which goes in quite a few different directions. World Domination is the pure hard rock banger of an album. Just Bring It has a bit emo/darkness side of Band-Maid. Do you want the popular or the hidden deep cut gems?
@@madsstavang Unrelated to anything you are discussing with Shizzy, but did you happen to see the set list from "Crazy Mama Kingdom" in Okayama last night? This is MISA's old home town (before she moved to Shimokitazawa in Tokyo). Songs #15 to #20 were Mirage, matchless GUM, DICE, HATE?, Giovanni, and FREEDOM. I'd guess Shizzy has seen Hate? but shouldn't he check out *_any_* ( correction: *_all_* ) of the others?
If you haven't listened to Hate live from Lollapalooza, then you're missing out their best performance of the year. I don't want to spoil it, but between the additions and the live setting, it's like a whole new song. Just search "Band-Maid Hate Lollapalooza"
You gotta add this to your playlist and rock to the Maids in your personal time. They make for a happy existence! You NEED to see the “Dice & Hate?” unofficial YT video from their August Lalapalooza 2023 appearance!! They absolutely slayed their whole 1 hour set but these back to back 2-fer gives some killer performance with a mega guitar and bass battle; plus all their other amazing live playing. Your guaranteed to love it!! Take care and rock on🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🔥🎼😎🌍✌🏼
Nice reaction. This song is the ending of an anime ( Netflix's Kengan Ashura 2). They released a best of for their 10 years of existence this last summer. No announce for their next release yet, but they are ending their 10th anniversary tour in November, so we will probably know then.
Band Maid recently released 10th Anniversary Best Of Vol I & Vol II, a lot of us suspect that they are going to drop a new album or EP probably towards the end ofhe year or in the new year. They have had decent amounts of 'time off' between each leg of their 10th Anniversary tour so knowing how they rooll, they've probably been putting their 'time off' to good use. Apart from Shambles they've given us a clue by debuting another song 'Go Easy' at their Sep 2 concert and played it again yesterday/today 22nd
Band Maid has a ten year back catalog of 127 songs. Imagine all the sick riffs you’ve missed! This song was made for an anime. They’re winding up their 10th Anniversary tour in Yokohama Arena this November . Everyone is hoping for a new album next year. Dig their old stuff! So much there to enjoy or even inspire you. My current favorite “monster” 👿 jam is “Moratorium,” off their “Just Bring It” album back in 2017. Live is always best for reactions 🤘🏽
Yup, the Ladies of Band-Maid have a "Wall of Sound" they hit you with. NOT like Phil Spector's wall of sound, which was mono, but STEREO MAIDS that will hit you with pulse pounding heavy rock.
This song was written for a anime ! Check out the first song off their EP UNLEASH !!!!! it's call "From Now On" MV and the last song "Hate" live at Lollapalooza 2023 besides Shambles their newest songs =) Thanks Shizzy Nice Reaction !!!!!
There are lots of rumors that they will release a new album soon. The video for Shambles was filmed last winter, so they may well have more they've been hiding from us. Loved your reaction, man! Thanks for the Band Maid love 💘🤘🥁🎸🍾🥳
This release was unassociated with anything else they are doing, it was written for and tied to season two of "Kengan Ashura." But they have been touring all of 2023 in celebration of their tenth anniversary (including a couple of stints in the U.S.) and plan to finish the tour at Yokohama Arena on November 26th. Hopefully they will release something (an album?) before then. They played Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 4th. Look for a youtube video titled "BAND-MAID - Dice & Hate? at Lollapalooza 2023, with optimized audio." One additional thought. Listening on headphones is great but it is not like being there feeling MISA's bass in your chest. 乾杯!
Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Shizzy!
Monsters 😂😂 Brother if monsters were all like BM give me nightmares every night and let me be terrified by them in my waking hours. I just love how these Rock Valkyries can smash my face in musically to my great enjoyment and at the same time steal my heart away. What a fcken band Po, Viva the Maids 👍🍻🎼🥁🎸🎤🍻
Band Maid MV;s are all good... now you need the real experience .. you should check the Live performances... there are plenty of groups that can make it in the studio .. its the awesome groups that can bring it Live... and that is Band Maid ....Puzzle, No God , Domination, Freedom, Warning.. its a loooooooong list of greatness....
I remember you. You covered the Unleash EP ten months ago and evidently thought so much of Band-Maid that you admit you haven't bothered to listen to them again until the making of this video.
They basically always have an album or EP in the works. 120+ songs in 10 years. They’re so hard working.
MISA MISA MISA!!!!! "Push the Envelope Like a Fierce Tiger"
These girls NEVER fail to deliver.
I believe this song is for an anime.
They played a new song at one of their shows in Japan. Forgot the name tho.

Actually the camera work was good, it was the dumbass in the producers hat that didn't have a clue.
You're not "late to the party", you're "making an entrance" - big difference 👍😎

I didn't see "Go Easy" but check setlist.fm for "Crazy Mama Kingdom" (love that venue name) #15 to #20 in particular. Awesome!

Although the camera work wasn't so great, Dice and Hate? at Lollapalooza is their best live performance to date...at least I think so.
