@@miko653 exactly you have to own the original game It is easy to configure the Doomrunner program to create combinations of mods
Step1 Extract the GZDoom folder
Step2 after extraction of GZDoom create a new folder inside GZDoom insert the original files DOOM.WAD, DOOM2.WAD
Step3 Extract doomrunner to your desktop
Step4 configure doomrunner

I don't understand what this has to do with Quake Champions? That is a live service FPS, but it can run user created mods? I never knew this.

This isn't the official game of quake champions, it's a mod created by the community of moddb.com, this site created the "quake champions: Doom edition" mod. I combined it with another map ("Neo Retro") created by doomworld.com community😄
