I had a similar reaction to the movie, being a little wary at the Rick and Morty-esque energy in the first hour and being ALL IN by the ending. It's a movie where 'a rock is revealed to have googly eyes' made me cry. Also I would die for Raccacouine, which is convenient because Raccacouine would probably try to kill me
Seeing this video in my subscription feed was the kick I needed to actually go see it so I could enjoy this video without being spoiled. Very glad I did!
I absolutely loved this movie! Literally my only complaint was the scene at the end where Evelyn again told Becky to change her hair, which I felt undermined some of the growth she had shown. Nitpicks aside, it really was a masterpiece!!
I guess I am the only one who feels that Everything Everywhere is, at its core, a very conventional, traditionalist film, especially in its idea of what fulfillment in life entails
