Rob, the factory speakers are pretty decent. If you are on a limited budget, I can't recommend enough getting an amplifier first. I have a pretty decent history with car/home/pro audio. My company car is a 2016 Fusion and I tried to not alter it too much. Running a tiny little class D- 5 channel on the factory speakers and a custom subwoofer I couldn't believe just how good the stock speakers sounded. If do have the means to upgrade both, that is obviously the better scenario.
@@buildr3303 I have the 17 with 12 speakers. I found out the ohm's in the tweeters and woofers in the door are different and the deck, the woofers are 2 ohm's and the tweeters are 4 ohm's ran by the HU. If you were to replace speakers to match ohm's.. Would have to replace them separately or replace the amp in the trunk and replace the woofers.
@@kiwi8476 I had a bit of a hard time understanding the question, but just some general info: you can run a 4ohm speaker on 1 channel and run a 2ohm on another (provided the amplifier supports a 2ohm load) A HU can't handle a 2ohm load. We don't know what witchcraft they were working with when designing the factory system, but if the tweeters are 4ohm vs 2 ohm woofers - it's very possible that the tweeters might just have been 3db more sensitive and that balances the output levels without requiring any additional components (money). If you can reward the question a little I'll try to answer better
Sorry no :( The door was off already. I dont remember how the door was on the car, if you had to take the fender off to get to the bolts. Usually most cars you need the fender removed. Check for access to them and you will see
Thank you!!! This helped me in replacing the side mirror in my wife’s Fusion 👍👍

Do you have a video on how to remove the door off of the car itself. Considering swapping the doors cause of an accident I had.
Sorry no :(

No sorry
But how did you take the door off the hinges
This video was for the door panel removal. To Remove the entire door fender has to come off.
